Hey guys, I have a Brand new Davies,Craig Dual Operation Radiator and Condensor Cooling Thermal Switch & Relay This is what you would need to control an aftermarket electric thermo fan (when replacing the clutchfan). According to the Davies,Craig site it has the following: Part. 0404, Thermal Switch & Relay Mechanical Thermal Switch The Mechanical Thermal Switch is adjustable from 80?C - 115?C. The Thermal Switch is mounted next to the radiator and the copper probe is mounted inside the radiator hose. The Thermal Switch is then connected to the ignition circuit for operation. The Thermal Switch & Relay Kit enables a fan to operate both thermally and also when the air conditioning is running. KITS CONTAIN: Thermal Switch Mounting Bracket Length of wire Connectors Rubber Seal Relay Wire Loop It is brand new and still unopened. I Bought it from SuperCheap 2 months ago, but decided to stick with my clutchfan for now. its Past the 7 day returns policy so i am offering it at a slight loss at $50. Sticker price is $70. So this is a great bargain for someone who would be participating in the DC fan group buy currently running!!
Re: thermo fan control Sorry I should have updated this post a little sooner This item is sold pending payment. BTW, i am not sure whether it can be made to activate at 60 degrees. I'm sure you could use a resistor to change it but i have no idea...
