    Fitting up some Bosch EV14 injectors to my Cima lower plenum. Never needed to custom fit injectors before, can someone point me in the right direction here?

    The injector o-ring OD is 14.5mm, 15mm is the bore in the injector port. I ordered these figuring I'd need some fatter o-rings - how far above the port diameter do I need to allow for sufficient squish?

    it looks to me like the injector isn't sitting in far enough. it looks like the pintle cap is making contact with the lowest point of the injector bung - guessing I need to pop it off and get some thinner ones? like this;

    or am I after rail adapters?

    Cheers

    I would try double stacking the orings first. This could hold the intector high enough to clear and might also increase the od enough to fit.

    Also, the 14.5mm orings are meant for a 13.8ish(14mm) bucket, i would allow at least .25mm squish, but depends on material used

    Buy some universal injector adapters and machine the plenum to suit. You will need to glue the adapters in.

    I realised where I was working this week put me going right past Motorsport Connections on my commute, so I dropped by on the way home on Wednesday (great fun fitting a lower plenum and steel capped work boots in my backpack). I picked up a set of old to new style injector adapters that I'll need to cut shorter before fitting in. I know people glue these in like with the BDE kit, but I need to get some welding work done on this thing anyway so I may as well have these installed at the same time. Thanks for the leads guys.
