Cruise control for a 300ZX - Can suit cars with aftermarket steering wheels

I recently bought a cruise control kit from one of the members here and i was hoping to fit it to my nissan Cedric (being that it shares the same engine). Unfortunately it looks like the engine is the only thing this car shares with the Z and there is no way i can make the cruise control stuff fit.

I got the following items:
right hand side 300ZX binnacle cluster (with Cruise On/Off button)
Cruise Control ECU
Cruise Control Actuator

I'm told that on a Z the wiring harness is already there ready to be plugged in (even in cars that didnt have cruise control from the factory), so for you guys it should be a plug & play process...

In addition to this, i bought a Cruise Control stalk from a Toyota Soarer because i was going to place this behind the steerign wheel in the Steering column to allow me to have cruise with an aftermarket steering wheel. I have taken it apart and rewired it to suit the Z cruise system (4 wires, easy to integrate if the wiring diagram is anything to go by)


Anyway, i paid $150 for the 300ZX cruise stuff, and a further $15 for the Soarer Cruise control stalk. My loss is your gain, and i am willing to sell for $140 ONO. I'm in Sydney (Beverly Hills) if anyone wants to come and pick it up :thumbsup::thumbsup:
