    Hi all
Does anyone know what this connector connects to?
It comes from behind the dash and is quite a long cable (reaches centre console).
The connector has 6 outlets but only 5 wires - red back orange on one side and purple and white on the other.
I've looked through the wiring diagrams but can't seem to ID it.
Wondering if it is something auto related (i have a manual) or for some sort of aftermarket stereo.
    Thanks for your help.

This is not an OEM connector or loom.
Most likely an alarm or imobiliser.
Try to trace where the cable runs to.
If it runs behind the dash, you can remove the dash pad / cover, you might be able to see where is goes.
Its easy enough to lift, just remove 2 x philips head screws and pull the dash pad towards you.

yep thats aftermarket, if its not connected anywhere, back chase it and remove. The less redundant wiring in the dash the better.

Thanks for the responses - will chase it back and see where it connects to.
