Hey guys I’ve tried searching but none seem to be the same as my issue
So with my new Zed it’s got a rough idle, when it’s cold I’ll start it and the idle will be at like 1800-2000RPM and if I give it a rev it will then settle back down to 800ish, sometimes it goes down by itself and other times it rises back up to 2000 by itself. Always cold because it’s unregistered and always with the air con off.
    Anything spring to your minds?

Check your throttle springs are returning fully first! Sometimes if they become wet - they can stick and not return fully as I have had that once had happen to me after washing the engine bay ... (hence - why the Series 2 use TB covers) .... also clean any dirt around the throttle bearings and oil them as well .... You should also check they are in synch while there ... if it is not your TB ...........then check your MAF / Air leaks etc as above

Clamp the hose between the air regulator and the balance tube, if the idle drops you possibly have a dirty a/r or its faulty, but to me its sounds like a vacuum leak.

Thanks for the advice guys! @beaver @SuperZ and @RIP boost. Turns out my passenger side throttle body was slightly more open at idle and when you pull on the throttle cable it started to open before my driver side, I adjusted both screws until neither one was open and then re tightened them until they both opened at the same time. In turn that has now brought my idle down to 900-1000RPM.
1 problem down, I can also here a air leak somewhere near my silicone intake pipes on passenger side. Will do some more hunting of my own but are there any common places around that area that have a tendency to leak??

And it was the vacuum line that is underneath the throttle body! Hook it back up and there’s no more air leak and a steady-ish idle at 900RPM
