some of you thinking about getting coilovers may be interested in these options:

Racing Logic Hyper series, $1310 + delivery, more info here:

    http://www.racing-logic.com/product-2.htm

also, I can supply D2 coilovers, same coilovers as in the Fleetmobile, $1480 + delivery:

    here you go:

racing logic coilovers 12.1 kg/mm front, 8.7 kg/mm rear, same for the D2 coilovers funnily enough.

how are they for daily driving, i do 20,000kms around town each year in my zed so want something harder than stock and to lower it slightly but not too aggressive

the D2s I have on the car are pretty firm, seeing as how the springs rates on the racing logic are the same then I would think they would be similar. I mean they dont worry me, but if you have back problems or something similar it could be a problem.

I got the street spec D2 in mine

you feel everything, wasnt so bad when i was running just the fronts (couldnt be bothered taking off all the boot covers at the time) a tech day later and you really notice the road quality from suburb to suburb.

    You know I'm interested... :D

Won't be before the new year though. Are the racing logic ones any good? I've never heard of them before, are the pretty purple ones really worth the extra dosh? I'm pretty sure that you could get the D2's with whatever spring rate that you wanted, at least that's what their web site says.

That rate is pretty hard I have the US spec Flex and its 12kg front 10 rear which is awesome on the track and motorways but Sydney roads forget it I must look like one of those friggin bobbin head doll things rolling down the street in my car but like Fleet dont mind it as its a toy and doesnt get driven much. If your car is a daily driver you may find it difficult to bear.

NExt time we catch up Byron probably the poker night I will take you for a run in mine and you can see first hand how stiff it actually is. ( the suspension that is :D :D )

would be keen but i really don't want a harsh ride. guess that comes with the territory of having your car sitting lower though doesn't it.

    yes it does sadly

We've installed the Racing Logic coilovers in Drokk's car, he says they handle great and are quite firm. They are adjustable via a tool inserted into the top of the coilovers. You could try sending him a PM to get his opinion on them.

Steer Clear, D2's are Shite, get something nice like tein, u can really c and feel the quality in these coil overs.

i helped tobias (zedzilla32) install rear ones on his zed.. they are a bucket of puss.. apparently they need rebuilds all the time aswell according 2 a few workshops tobias has talked 2... spend the extra 300 or so and get Teins they are the stuff...

Im sorry if this isnt what u want 2 here in a GB thread but you guyz should be aware that these D2 coilovers are nasty and feel really cheap.

Fleet uses them on his race car, every time I've talked to him he hasn't had anything bad to say about them... What specifically goes wrong with them? Does all the gas leak, dodgy springs, what. You can't really come hear and say that 'my mates workshop thinks there rubbish' give us some more info... From my experiance some workshops are out there just to make money first and help there customers second.
