ok can anyone help with some info... did a manual conversion on my car and it does not seem to make a difference how much i bleed the clutch, the pedal wont build up any resistance and the slave does not appear to be moving. so the question is.. will it be the master cylender or the slave. if anyone has any suggestions to help me work this out it would be greatly appreciated.
have you bled the clutch master cylinder? and what about the factory bleed point down near where tt hicas is normally situated?
Probably still air in the lines. How is it piped up? Have you got all the stock lines including the bleed line near the headlight? Can be hard to bleed with a single line. Get a vacuum bleeder, makes it a lot easier.
when you say have i bled the master cylender, we bled the system from the slave cylender and the bleeder point near where the hicas used to be. is there any other
theres a bleed point on the clutch cylinder where you fill it up wit more clutch/brake fluid..........
nah just checked on the car only bleed nipples are on the slave cylinder and foctory bleed point, nothing on the master for bleeding.
i may not be making myself clear, and for that i apologise....... its not on the master cylinder itself, but on the reservoir body......http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=293186 as per this photo, i hope!!!:zlove:
nah mine is not the same, no bleed on the master anywhere. back to square one, methinks i should take the slave off and check if it all works ok
Are you sure about that?? There should be 2 lines coming off the master cylinder and a bleed nipple... How are your lines setup?
line going from master then splits into two one goes to the slave and one to the bleed point near the hicas
Only some of the master's have bleed nipples. NA's seem to have them most of the time, TT's mostly not.
suck the fluid through a clear hose through your from bleed point. you will get an air lock at the tee block
