    Hi guys,

Firstly, please avoid misreading the thread title. The other thread(s) got a bit kinky after a while.. :p

Secondly, I'm trying to decide what to put in place of the clock (that has failed to work despite resistor changes & resoldering of all joints.)

I've got a turbo timer that sits neatly underneath the steering wheel that is too large for the empty clock slot.

I wouldn't mind a consult lcd display setup, but I don't think it's designer is willing to program for such a confined space.

I also wouldn't mind a Z vanity badge, provided it's not too ricey.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Yes, I would love to have a working clock in the clock slot.

Not just one that lights up for 30 seconds when you start the car.

Isn't there any other clocks that fit. I tried to buy a Falcon clock on ebay that looked like it would fit, but somebody pipped me on the line.

My defi unit controls are going in that slot. Needs to be enlarged a bit though. Pritty much anything that is almost that shape can go there with a little bit of work.

That's where my Blitz DTT goes. Perfect fit, well almost.;)

Not sure of the actual size, but some wizardry could see one of these fit which could be quite nice. about $35 from Jaycars and back lit etc.:

I tried one of these. Too big to fit behind and cheap led that dies when exposed to the sun.

    Turbo timer works good.

Cheap enough to replace your existing one also if you want to integrate your interior a lil.

i just dremelled the rounded corners of the slot so it has 90deg corners and my greddy profec bspec 11 slid in perfectly and sort of clipped in quite firm just where the face piece attaches to the body of the boost controller

Yeah, I think I will need to modify that enclosure. I'd need to cut the face, as well as the backing if I were to fit anything other than a clock.

If that's the case, I'll just wait until NewKleer comes up with the new board, whereupon I'd create an enclosure that will be of suitable size.

I've already got a boost gauge/controller that sits in a gauge cup.

Hmm, judging from the following pic, I can probably fit the lcd screen in quite well:
