hey all' just want to know what u think of these wheels for my red 300zx. front and 265 rear. $1700 I am thinking of getting them' Just what 2 see what othere people think of them. http://wheelworx.com.au/stock_wheels/speedy/large/cheetah-black.jpg
2nd If you like that pattern, there are some Volks that look similar. Just keep a look out on the 2nd hand wheel market and get yourself some nice light weight jap volks for less $ and then add a professional clean up and powder coat the spokes in your colour of choise.
Some fool put speedy rims on my zed before i bought it. They're heavy and made in Taiwan. Or at least mine were. Mine has a hair line crack in one spoke. Maybe 15-20% the way through. The clear coat is fucd and overall looks shit. Now all that, isnt to deter you, I was going to buy speedy rims in a 6 stud pattern for my ute. You get what you pay for, and unfortunately, from the prices i received from wheelworx, they're simply over priced for what they are. My local bob jane could do better price for the speedy rims for my ute. Personally for these cars, they deserve good jap quality rims. If you're still keen, before you hand over the money inspect each rim. And go from there. Now for the people that will say im just bitching cause i got shitty rims. Im honestly saying these are a budget brand range, and mine are stuffed and they're not very old. Cracks and shitty clear coats.
them and start lurking on Skylines Australia and other Import forums. I picked up mr Workmeister S2Rs from someone on Antilag. $1000 all up including brand new Superstreet tyres. When I say brand new...I mean the STICKER was still on the tyres. never been used. So pretty much I got CHEAP tyres (as they are about $280 each) with FREE wheels lol. You just need to be patient, and watch the price dropping
Yep, you have to be a bit of a sucker to buy wheels brand new. Also check out Yahoo Japan, some good stuff comes up there cheap.
Check these wheels out. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=295244 The same but better quality. You can then get them powder coated black.
Interesting, I am looking for wheels so I went and had a look. Nothing looks very or even slightly cheap there to me, quite the reverse. Then I think I found a clue to their pricing policy: I bought a set of Nismo Long Hub bolts a couple of years ago through Greenline - I paid A$65 or thereabouts. I checked these items again : ConceptZ US$69.99 ZI Motorsports: US$68 J-Imports: A$270     I expect a free dunce cap comes with them if you buy them from J-Import.
