    Any Hints

I got a hand brake handle through the group buy and started to look at changing it over. Has anyone done this before. I did not want to break anything and I would like to keep the original one if possible.

Cut the old one longside and pull off.

If there is a metal sleeve at the front move it to the new one.

    Slide on.

Alternatively if you want to still keep the old one get a long Flat Blade screwdriver n create a space by sliding it in between the Rubber cover and the aluminium handle and spray WD40 in there, working your way down... then get a rag and wrap it around the rubber handle and start working it off the handle.
Might need to use the screwdriver in a few spots to break the initial contact.
Viola (still don't know how that spell Vwuall Ahh lol!)

Do what Chrispy does for removing cradle bushes.

    Set it alight.

    Lol.

I used a stanley knife to cut mine off, and then the replacement I had didn't fit

This was the point where I decided to initiate the leather interior Group Buy. Glad I did :)

It's back on now and wrapped with black electrical tape. Lol. Just waiting for the package to arrive. :zlove:
