After seeing this event advertised on Instagram, I decided it was time to branch out and start entering my Z into more local car events here in Victoria. I've registered for the upcoming Cars & Culture Melbourne show, which looks like it'll feature a great mix of vehicles, from muscle cars and JDM builds to European cars and exotic supercars. I'm looking forward to representing the Z32 at the event, and I was hoping there might be a few other Z owners still active on these forums who'd be interested in joining me for a day out. It would be great to have a stronger Z presence at the show and spend the day showing our cars to the public while catching up with fellow enthusiasts. Free entry, all welcome, major events across the country. Approx. Duration: - 1 - 6 Hours (You can leave whenever you want really) One of the best things about this event is that it's completely free to attend, whether you're coming as a spectator or entering your car in the show. The only requirement is that you register through the Cars & Culture website before the event. I've already registered myself, so I'm all set and ready to go. MEET POINT INFORMATION To make attending the event as a group as easy as possible, I thought the best approach would be to meet at a well-known location before the show and then cruise to the event together—just like the good old days. Another quick update for anyone wanting to attend, I didn't seem additional information at what time the display cars need to be at the event location before the show starts which is from 7:30am - 8:45am. So I'll now need to be at the meet point at 7am not 8am like I had planned. My new plan is to leave Todd road servo around 7:20 am to drive to the event and get there on time.
