hey all . IN THE 300 MY AC control has come off and i dont know how 2 put it back on. and allso when u drive the car my stering is nice and light and sometimes it goes verry hard .. can any one help me out... thank you ...stephen...
come off how exactly?? the face of the panel or the whole pod has come loose?? when it goes hard are you doing anythign different to when its light?? check your fluid levels, maybe bleed the system, check the belt is ok to start with
Has the screw from underneath come out/snapped?? if there is no screws put one in the holes, if its snapped try and remove it and replace the screw... if your AC facing has cracked you will need a replacement to make it stay in place
300zx just had a look and there is no cracks up the top where it is ment to click in ..it wont do it and there is nothing broken with it ?
undo the bottom screws and try putting it back together top first, may have just been bumped or somethign too hard and popped out... or clip has gone walk about
If that clip is dislodged caues the screws holding it in have broken the threads, Just do the screws up in the bottom and tape it up with duct tape. Mine was held together with duct tape for a few months until I got a replacement pod lol
hey mate, i used to have the same prob with my steering, so i bled the system and ran new fluid through it, now is sweet. also if you have run it low it can run air into the system....not good for a hydraulic system
