I have noticed a buzzing sound from the driver door, when I start the car
and the doors automatically lock...then there is a buzzing sound, it stops when I manually unlock the driver door.

What's going on......can anyone tell me lol ?

sounds like the auto entry unit is faulty ,the drivers door controls both doors (or u have a wasps nest in there lol )

I think there is more too it than that.

I don't know if later models were different, but the Series 1 does not have an actuator on the drivers door lock, but it does have one on the passenger side. Therefore the drivers side can only be locked or unlocked from the outside with the key, or from the inside with the red thingy. Doing that triggers the actuator on the passenger side.

If your doors automatically lock as you describe, someone has fitted an actuator to the driver's door as well - that usually happens as part of an alarm or remote door locking installation. My alarm system uses an actuator on that door.

I suspect your drivers side actuator is faulty or not properly connected mechanically. You will need the door trim off to check it out, and that is an adventure in itself.

If you need a new actuator they can be had at Supercheap or a Jaycar or an Altronics and they don't cost much as I recall.

Same with me, check your fuses first. Might be an easy fix

Think you will find its the Accessory fuse.

If the internal light doesnt come on, and the climate control temp settings reset to 25c when you turn the ignition off.

Look in the foot well. The accessory fuse is blown.

It makes a loud relay clicking (continously) noise. I think that is what you are hearing.

A member of the forum (name deleted to protect his reputation):)bash:) once left his driver side window down during an overnight rainstorm. The noise he got was like a carhorn going of and almost as loud. Problem was temporarily fixed by removing the accesory fuse and after the door (and driver seat) dried out it didn't re-occur. So check your fuses first, then go further. Good luck
