    Hey All,
It is with pleasure that I announce the birth of my life long dream. A one stop customisation and restoration centre for anything on 4 wheels: Epic Automotive Concepts! One of my specialities will be providing an experienced and trustworthy Z32 repairer back to Brisbane since the unfortunate collapse of A2Zed.

As most of you that know me I've got a Z32 that has been featured in 2 magazines and won various awards and accolades. This is the result of research, innovation, industry experience and attention to detail fuelled by pure passion :zlove:

I've been customising cars since my early teens including old school Holden Red Sixes and V8's, VN-VY Commodore V6's including supercharged plus various other rides. A recent project saw the custom fitment of a positive displacement supercharger with water to air intercooler to my LS2 powered VZ HSV. Like my own Z I also tuned the engine management system to handle the previously unknown dimension of forced induction.

My years of experience has not only been focused on extracting more power but extends to interior repairs and enhancement, In Car Entertainment design and application, suspension and brake repairs and upgrades, rust and panel repairs and full resprays, exhaust design and manufacture, etc. My latest customer has tasked me with fitting the drive line from a WRX into a Subaru Brumby!

For years I have read in magazines of car enthusiasts that have to deal with multiple personalities and sources to achieve their ambitions for a truly unique vehicle and when things go wrong the long list of chasing people for support becomes a nightmare. The common thread is always the same. They wish they had fewer people to deal with but what was more important to them was finding someone they could trust!

Initially I will be running my business part time. Due to my "Day Job" being shift work makes my availability spurious so for any work you would like to enquire about please drop me a PM. I'll have other forms of contact being made available soon. Remember, this is a one stop shop. Whether it be general servicing, preventative maintenance or making your ride more fun and exciting, whatever your desire there is every chance we can make it happen.

For those of you who don't know Karl/90TTZ, he has been working on 300ZX's for longer than some of us have had our drivers licenses and longer again with Holdens. As a result he has one of the finest 300ZX in Australia. An absolute weapon both in regards of aesthetics and performance. All built by him.

Now that Karl has started his business, this dream of own your own custom high performance Z is closer than it has ever been before for people living in QLD.
I have owned my N.A 300ZX Z32 since 2006 when I imported it from Japan from auction. Being the only driver of this car on Australian soil. Over the years I have neglected my Z in maintenance and TLC because I have simply not had the time or the mechanical experience to work on these complex cars.
As we all know, taking a 300ZX the wrong mechanic can be an expensive and dangerous move which most of us have done in our times. Now that Karl has opened his business EPIC Automotive Concepts, this is no longer a problem.

I recently took my Z to him to have it brought to life and tidied up. I had some drive-train and suspension issues that were getting the better of me. I spoke to Karl and he worked on these issues over the course of a fortnight and was able to not only fix the problems, but replace them out and upgrade them so I didn't have to worry about them again.
I can not recommend Karl an his business enough to anyone who has a 300ZX or a custom car project that they aren't sure of or need some guidance or professional help.
Sometimes a knowledgeable mechanic with a enthusiastic passion for our cars is all we need and can be the difference between a failed rebuild project and a showroom gem.
Karls work that he has done on my car was impeccable. He kept me well informed with what was going on, how much things were going to cost and asking me what my intentions for the future of my car was so we could budget in repairs and upgrades. Not only did Karl meet my expectations, he exceeded them. Fixing issues I was not aware of or had been deliberately avoiding due to fear of finding problems.
Now that my car is up and running again, I am already building a parts list of the next lot of things I want to buy and install to my car, as well as rebuilding the car with a respray, new interior, in-car-pc etc.

If you love your car, and you need some honest, professional help with it. I highly recommend Karl and EPIC Automotive Concepts to get you on your way. Nothing feels better than leaving your car in capable hands knowing all work performed is being done to the highest standard and knowing that Karl doesn't cut corners. He tells it how it is and works with you and what you want.
I hope many more people give Karl a go with your car and you will not be disappointed.

All the best on your new adventure Karl and I will be keeping on contact regarding my project list I've been growing over the last few weeks. I can not recommend this guy enough.

    Awesome Karl

Lucky QLDers that will be able to draw on your knowledge and expertise, if they get half of the attention to detail that you put into yours, then there shouldn't be a misfiring Zed anywhere up north, well done, thumbs up from me.:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks for the vote of confidence everyone. I had a few people bring me their sick Z's over the last few weeks and they go away with big smiles which makes my day. It's unfortunate these cars have such a bad rep when it boils down to lack of maintenance which any car will suffer from. I think for the Z32 though the maintenance is not being done due to the fear most mechanics have of them.

Thanks for the comment Wizard. I've said this before but it was your words of encouragement at Cowra Zedfest that gave me the desire and drive to make something very special out of mine :)

gmbrezzo, I think the image looks more like a 240 than a 350 but that was never the intention of the design, just happened to be my favourite that was put before me.
