    By the way

just so everyone knows, myself and missdaisy are the artists making the crownie hats, all out of one case as well. Now that is working on a tight budget. Only K-zed didn't wear it, ill work on getting it on him over the next few days ;)

I won't get my pics back until Friday ...

Apparently a lot of people took pics over Easter! This is the main disadvantage of film vs digital. If only I could afford a digital SLR + a few lenses!!!

Jack or Doug might have some digital smokescreen special effects.

PS: Does te phrase "happy birthday" make anyone else cringe as well?

My best was a 1:18-something-or-other, must keep eyes on track

instead of head-bangin'to the music :p
PLUS, seeing as those tyres of mine are SO very hard and stuffed (I just get wheelspin everywhere now on the street) then the drags on Wednesday will be seeing a very nice collection of burnouts :D

 Yes it was a great weekend....

any yes the party in room 21 sucked cause all the oldies had to go to sleep early:p

Looking forward to seeing some of those photos as it may regain memory of what actually happened:wacko:

That merino we saw Lou was pretty boring, but the wind-powered farm was much better.

I had a ball expect for the presentation dinner which made me nearly fall asleep.

    Max:thumbsup:

    red32 You talkin' to me?

Yeah, Mark. "HBTY" is now my least favorite tune...

While I'm here, many thanks for your help with the idling problem. It's fine, perhaps a little bit high, but still better than stalling all the time.

    Blipman gets lucky...

Travelling back to Melbourne was uneventful, except for one incident just north of Wangaratta. Bens Sky80 leading 6 Zeds, me in trail, (travelling just under the legal limit) go past a cop parked in the center reserve of the Hume highway. I look in the rear view mirror and see that Mr Plod has started moving, with his lights flashing. Two minutes later, Mr Plod, in his Copper-Commie goes screaming past. OMG, who's he after? Mr Plod goes wailing past me, RZM, MaxZ, Zxtt-1, Method, Wykked, up to where Ben is chugging along minding his own business (the Sky80 IS a little loud, tho) and flags down the Magna immediately behind Ben. A little too close for comfort, methinks.

    Go the Z32s :zlove:

I had an awesome time - I must rememeber for next time to take a week off. I can't believe I didn't get any close-up photos of the PHATT. Damn - that was a nice ride. I think I spent more time hovering around that car then anywhere else over the weekend.

It was good to put faces to names (I may even remember some of them) and to unwind a bit over the weekend. Shame about the long drive - my car clocked 2700KMs over the weekend but the only problem she had was a blown headlight. Go Gavin Wood!

I'll post some pics later tonight hopefully. BTW any pics that surface of me wearing a beerhat are also photoshop jobs (jeez you guys are good with that program - so realistic)

Oh yeah - and thinks should go to Mark (zed4life) who kept me sane (or was that insane) for the journey down and back.

I also promised I would find out where I got the playing cards from - I'll look that up tonight. And I'll throw in the URL for the calender on the DSM website for those who are interested.

    What a Blast!

    Cheers,
    Shaun.

    More on that story ...

I could clearly see the copper parked under the bridge and made sure I was just on/under 110kmh. Couldn't believe it when the burgundy Magna (I thought it was a Commodore!) overtook me at about 125 and had a direct look at the coppers expression as he did so. Priceless!!!

I knew who he was after and that none of the Z/180 crew was in trouble.

Y'know guys, in retrospect, that looks really really stupid :D

Thanks, JP you're spot on there , susp was letting the show down, and am

currently reasearching my options there. May have to come see you about one of them shiny strut braces also. I believe they are the stock springs with Adjustable shocks, was abit like wrestling a croc with the handling the way it is.
