    Hi guys,
Just a quick question, my 300 i have now already has after market BOV. But the other day a mate of mine has given me 2 Greddy Type-RS BOV.

I have installed them but now the car seems to be doseing a little bit instead of the normal putssh noice.

Could this be because the type-rs bov are too small???

tighten the screw at the top more to compress the spring and make sure your vac lines are on correctly

I just re tightened everything its working a little bit better.

But just spoke to someone else and he told me that the spring is a higher rated spring this is why the car will prob dose a little bit.

So my other question is, "Is the dosing on the car even if its only a little bit bad for the car and turbos??

Sorry, bare with me for a second. Dosing/Fluttering means the air isn't escaping the system, thereby being forced back through the Turbo creating the sound. If the BOVs were overtightened (set up for maybe a much higher boost level?) and the springs compressed too much, they'd never open... thus giving similar or exact effects.

Shouldn't he be loosening the spring to solve the issue?

This is what i thought too and have tried both way but both seem to flutter

maybe the base setting of the spring load is still more than the turbos will handle any idea of what the minimum boost pressure on your BOV's is
