love this style of tuning. obscene quad tip victory pipes sticking out of a stock rear bar, angled 30* to the left and upwards... sounds pretty cool. You'd never get away with it though, not in this country.

for the flares, IMO just roll your guards so hard they're paper thin, then flare them. the paint'll come off and it'll rust around the edge. then add 18x11's with a 225 or so tyre (talk to mr zed x) and ~3.5* negative camber. this won't be cheap! coilovers, control arms, tension rods, etc... certainly enough to make me cry (I'm doing it)

while we're on it, what're the legalities regarding victory pipes in this country? nothing that mad but like

I looked up the ADRs, 10.2 that you mentioned in the op but that was stuff on steering columns :S prob'ly illegal due to the inherit decapitation which would undoubtedly occur in the event of backing into a small child/llama

how's this for some inspiration? I personally love this car except for that stupid spoiler

paint job out of a spray can pulls this off pretty well, like that matte khaki 240z on the last page (read the build thread)

pretty much just do everything half-arsed and for as little as possible and you'll get there

Just paraphrased this doc for the appropriate section:
Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2000
    Subordinate Law 2000 No 12
made under the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Act 1999

I might have to trawl a bit deeper to find if this regulation is in fact the one that would need to be complied with. Can email you a copy if interested.

As per the flares... I've always wanted to try my hand at lead wiping. with excessively rolled guards, im sure that would way more rigidity to the thin metal

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

i don't understand what the deal is with all of them mounting their oil coolers on the front with long hoses back in. I guess it's a fashion thing with those style cars. ...or to make people think they're I/C's... lol.

Is this the NA with the AVS VS-5 Wheels?

Whatever you do, paint them black.

    That's the car. It's a NA 93 slicktop...
Has the AVS wheels, but they are a pearl white as it is, and no dish.
I've spent the past hour trying to drive the freeware / open source 'gimpshop' photo editor, but have had no luck. Is Photoshop any easier to use??!

I can't understand why you would purposely want to make a car look rough.. there is already plenty of sh!t box zeds getting around.. but thats just me..

reminds me of scrapheap challenge honestly

I would just drive round with them until you're told to take them off, there some drifters round my way with pretty serious flutes, and they have been on their cars for a while now

To keep it legal in the rust department, you could bond strips of thin metal to the painted bodywork and let that rust, instead of the actual body panels which would be considered structural.

You should be able to get black sunraysia steel rims to fit for that scrapheap look!

The truck from Jeepers Creepers looks tough in full rust (or would that be dried blood...???)

Having red vinyl decals would be ideal, and can be easily fitted (straight edges, and a circle)

They'll change colour again when they are used, specially on the elbows.

Titanium isn't worth the hassle on street cars.
