okay so these are look-a-like bomex but still a good price.......anyone dealt with these guys before??

The WW kits sell for over $2000 in aus but if we can get an origional, Js Auto will be able to make copies of them and reduce the price dramatically... but we would need to have confirmation on how many people want them as JS are willing to prchase the kit but they dont want to sell them at a loss.. origional kit + materials to copy will set them back.

if i can give them a list of people who are definatre on the WW kit - ppl willing to start making deposits - we maybe able to get them soon for under $1000. Js Auto dont wana spend big cash if theyre noyt gonna have buyers but im negotiating as much as i can. it will go ahead if we can get min of maybe 5 buyers.

i spoke with Geforce and they said the kits are made in china and ar not gauranteed to fit. seems to be very dodgy. they sell the kits for more than $500 but for some reason he wouldnt give me a quote over the fone. also they only have for 2seater.

Stay the hell away from anything from China,as far as bodykits they are a load of crap .Spend more and get quality,you get what u pay for !!!

 

Hate to tell you but almost all of them are made over there! Gforce supplys to HEAPS of companys that charge $800+++ for the same kit. Just because you pay good money does not mean you are getting quality. As for Gforce, i have bought a couple of kits from there some have been excellent and fitted with no fuss and others have been a headache. can be hit and miss.

Plus you can get a wide body MADE IN AUSTRALIA for the same price!

Stillen are made in the usa,thats where i got my ducted nose,urethane and great quality and it fits no probs ,if thats where carmate get their kits form most of them dont fit.in a previous thread of mine on bodykits this was discussed and nobody was real happy with carmates kits,just ask haylz about her dealings with them !!
as far as price and quality you are right,top dollar does not always mean good quality but top brand name and reputable companies usually do

 

All kits from JS Auto are made in Sydney by experienced workers. if your in syd im sure they wont mind you poping around to look at the set up.... but i can asure you it is not cheap chinese crap.

i no the guys at JS auto are helpful aswell. ive know of them to take a video of installing a front bar and sending it to a client to help them out...im not saying theyll do this for any1 but they are decent guys and will go that extra mile to help you out. the guys that sell the chinese stuff (ie Geforce) are just resellers and a not expirenced wen it comes to installations or even just undertanig the materials

 

carmate is the worst lot of people.... they are rude and decieving. iv driven out to there factory to pick sum items up on numerous occasions and they have screwed me around. the lied saying the part broke as they were pulling it out... then i asked to see the broken item and they made up some story that the kit was wrong and the system hadnt been update. then they sold me the wrong sized clear indicators telling me that a STREAM 2000 model was an S2000. wen i got home i checked on the net. a STREAM 2000 is a honda VAN.... wtf. ....so thats just wot i think or the chinese crap at carmate... stay the hell away.

I was wondering if you could post up some pics of the quality of the kits?...Cause I know they are fibreglass, but how thick are they? Cause I dont want to pay around $1000, and get a kit as thin as paper..

 

no photos yet but i can assure you they are not cutting costs.... the kits will be very solid... i can try get you an aproxx. thickness if it bothers you that much... let me know and i'll find out asap.

 

Well if you say they will be solid..then I believe you..but would still like to see some pics, even if its of a Bomex one..but would prefer the WingsWest pics..
