Comments: Car is at AMEC and has low compression on all 6 cylinders. It still drives, comes on boost etc but runs rough.
Car has:

• Brand new gloss black paint job
• Brand new bosche battery
• Billstein front coilovers (height adjustable only)
• New brake pads
• Front and rear strut bars
• Racing Hart Tracer Type-C 17 x 8 & 17 x 9 wheels
• Ferrari Taillights
• Brazilian Tail
• Trust front bar
• Veilside V2 side skirts
• 2.5" Twin cat back
• New fuel pump

If you go and have a look at the car there are a few things the panel beater needs to fix up - like respray the mirrors but this will be done before the car is sold.

How low is "low" compression? Ie would it get to Sydney?

Lowest compression is 96psi and range through to about 110 for the highest. Actually i reckon it would make it sydney - after it warms up it runs ok, just down a lot on power (backfires a lot when cold). It's unregistered though.

 

And I now have no license...

Oh well it's nice to dream...I'll poor some dollars into my zed for nats.

 

How much would you be after if you sorted out the compression and chucked in a 100k service whilst you got its guts out ???

agreed, gotta love the TT slicktop 5-speed.... and black at that.
Took me 3 years to find mine. Would buy this if it wasn't for depleted funding.
Even have a spare TT motor in the cards (another guys dillusion of V8 happiness is my gain). Relist in February, you KNOW you wanna

mine is

'91 slicktop 2-seater. Factory: 5-speed, twin turbo, leather, and black

 

Slicktops only came in 2 seater. All NA's in the states, but Japan got both.

 

I'll do it for $11k running, registered and 100K serviced - but i would want a decent deposit

But it sounds pretty good.
If i could sell mine i would give you a deposit to get the 100k service, registered etc done.

But i need mine gone before i can get to excited
