Great restoration and all but pouring money into a VG30DE seems like a good way to waste a crap-load of money lets be honest, I agree with Tas. Probably won't even see 160rwkw, it's no inline M3 engine.. Will be interesting to see an output and curve but Dieseldave has gone down the highly strung NA route and he came to the conclusion the VG just isn't suited to being a highly strung engine.. Won't change here. Throw some snails on it, that's what the 300 is all about.
who cares? you can put a crap load of money into a TT, it become a never driven dyno queen and looks like crap still where he has put money and effort in doing unseen before mods to a streetable car that wins more awards than most cars on this forum and probably gets him more ass too... are people posting links of your build thread on their forum? didnt think so.

gee you guys like to get hung up on little details hey? He's not building an all motor na, its had a basic rebuild & that's it. He's not pouring money into a vg30de, he's pouring money & a lot of time & ability into a z32 that happens to currently have a vg30de in it. Read the build thread guys, there's a heap of impressive details & plenty of good info in it. Enjoy it for what it is, a z32 finished to a very high level.
It's just typical TT elitist attitude of some. It's NA therefore it is automatically inferior to a TT. I like the simplicity of the car (except the wheels). Turbos would just complicate it too much both mechanically and aesthetically to fit inline with the rest of the build (much like the wheels). As for value for performance, sell the Z32 and buy a ZX10R
Yep, impressive example. Lots of time & thought gone into it, but just like others the wheels are wack. I also appreciate the amount of detail & maintaining. Evan, so what if the guy has spent more time cleaning his car in a week than you have a lifetime. Taking pride in the appearance of the car (or anything for that matter) is not something to hate on I wrote more, but removed it as I can't be bothered getting into a sh!t fight. End statement, yes this is the best NA Z32 I've seen.
Tassuperkart answered my question EXACTLY. I originally thought the balance tube was removed and wondered what are the problems of doing that. He explained why its there and what it's job is, hence I have learned a bit more about the VG30DE. On further reading I see that he has used the PCV inlets to route the tubing underneath. I am considering this mod and using the EGR ports for the relocate.

You of all people should know I admire and respect that kind of effort...AND am the first one to say so... no? I just dont subscribe to it at all myself. No you dont Jono, its all there in black and white. I dont like the cheap looking seat install nor that weird looking wheel/excessivelystretched tyre alignment combo. The latter of which looks plain stupid to me. Might just be the circuit racer in me..... I dont see where that was so difficult to find?? I dont necessarily go against any "grain" at all! Unless, like sheep, Im expected to conform to *whoevers* interpretation of a "good" car! One thing Im happily guilty of is NEVER conforming to any standards other than my own! I have my own opinion of what makes a good car and superficial "looks" are very low on the priority list... for MOI! Now clearly, Anti, and Black Baz took umbrage to that as probably the only reply that would have adequately appeased them was how wonderful in every respect, according to them, this car is.... to THEM.. and whever else apes it. Justify myself? Hawhawhaw! I give it plain and simple Jono and people will do with it what they do.
