Well done Matt(WOKBURNER)and Mary, thanks for your hospitality and a great day. Welcome to the newbies who cruised for the first time with us, hope you had fun. 23 sharp Zeds all together is a very pretty sight :zlove:. Who has some pics???

Fantasic day.

A big thanks to Caz Graham and Wayne and who helped me with my Temp Sensor problem.

And thanks to Caz for letting me drive her car, no sooner had i said 'Wow, this thing goes really quick' traveling at an undisclosed speed, then i see the flash of a speed camera. I now expect to get a portrait of yours truely in the mail wearing a smile as wide as my spoiler and a maniacal gleam in my eyes very soon. I knew there was a reason i bought a non turbo. That will teach me i guess.

The Neimann Marcuses might be a good idea for the tech day thats in the planning....lure a few of our guru's along with them!

 

Think my cars jinxed...I have only let 3 zedders drive her and all 3 have

been done by a camera!........one was caught twice,by camera and live radar . See!, its not my fault, its the car I tell you..........:LOL:

 

Damn, another cruise. Was I on this one ?........

I guess I must have been there, and Wizard too `cause I see bloody Chili is calling us a couple of cantankerous zedders again !

I seem to remember Fairlady3 playing "chicken" with a train and Wokburner taking us down a 15 kilometre dead end road, and for some reason I have Wazza and "doof doof" continually running through my head ! Or is this some king of weird nightmare ? :wacko:

Bloody Alzheimer's, or maybe (like j-lew) I am just suffering from memory card issues again. I wonder if Bob Carr got any snapshots of me to verify if I was on the cruise or not ?

I'll have to try and make the next cruise and I might even come in the zed.

Thanks to Matt and Mary for your hospitality. Thanks to all those who helped me with my head lights... damnest thing. Thank you for the escort home one and all. Got home and disconnected neg terminal and I have just replaced all the fuses and hey presto... they all work fine again. Cannot explain, must be a healthy life style...hehe, anyway thank you Michael for whipping out all those fuses in the cold, and hope to see you all again real soon.

I did around 700kms yesterday, Canberra to Penrith to Blue Mtns to Penrith to Canberra, not getting home until 10:30 p.m.

I had a scare about 70 kms out of Canberra on the way home when I had to swerve to avoid a WOMBAT just after a copper had passed me in the fast lane and merged back into the left-hand lane - I think he got just as big a scare as I did !!!

A BIG THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO CAME ALONG AND HELPED OUT!

Hope you all had fun and didnt mind me leading you down picturesque, fun dead end roads (its more fun if you are not stuck behind a Subaru doing 40kms/hr). Oh and dont worry I have promptly strangled the mate who returned my mate who returned the BBQ with the wrong bits and cause the minor delay in food servage. Thanks STEVEN for the tips on keeping this gaggle together. CB radios fro the next one folks, so we can rescue busted kantankerous ZEDS when they happen.

Thanks again to all who came and made it a success, it was a priveledge to have you at our abode in the Hills, and quote USHER "Man you live out in the sticks - dont think I've been this far before", dont worry mate we did take the scenic route. The bonus is you have some quality Zed roads out here on the doorstep.
