my god .. what an experience ...!!!! .. talk about against all odds, ...

talk about S#&T happens !!!!! .... first, the crane is delivered, clearly not checked out by kennards, running repairs necessary before the replacement arrives, at least 5 major electrical storms, one trying to destroy and blow away aza's newly purchased "tent", aza attempting a cheap amputation of one finger, blood everywhere, tool boxes everywhere overflowing in the floods, ... against all this, aza determined not to stop, to get the job done ..total zedification..!!!

funny thing was that all enjoyed the unbelievable experience, laughter and chiacking all day .. top stuff guys ... and thanks aza for the chance to check out your special brews with the "red rooter' lunch spread ...

got home at 7.00pm... totally stuffed ..!!!

no nasties in getting the motor out >>

pulling the motor out was pretty easy on a maual after we dropped the gearbox it lifted almost straight up not like in an auto. rebuild of the engine will start sometime next year ill start pulling it down soon but building will depend on money.
the new motor seems in good nick was a lil rough at first but is running fine now except for a dud det sensor so she is running on safety map and still got some pull.
might be doing trackday on the 3rd dec last one for about 6mths while i get the rest of the zed upto scratch and start building the new motor.
i cant thank rob enough in coming over today to give me a hand finishing it all off i wouldnt have finished it today otherwise.
also if anyone needs some rain let me know and ill organise to pull a motor near you on that day cause it seems to like raining when i pull a motor out, this was third in arow not s#@t lol.

Was only 2 x half days Aza :D

I didn't arrive Sat until 12, then went to get engine crane, had lunch, spent 30 mins repairing hydraulics and only started pull after 1pm ... then the heavens opened!

Aza spent nearly 2 days on his back getting intimate with his box & zorst... arrived yesterday and he was under there with Karla, too :embarrassed::LOL:
