Does anyone have the measurements for the aux fan on a zed?

As in the length width and importantly the depth of the fan assembly.

Looking to possibly retrofit one else where but I have a depth constraint.

Any info would be great. Thanks.

Just put the tape over the fan in the Merc i can get to it any time and it was 100mm from the back of the motor to the front edge of the plastic shroud but you have room to cut the shroud back a bit to 85mm over all and your fan to miss what ever it's in front of ,, fan height from bottom to top is around 350mm but the 2 high mount arm's are higher still , across the fan over all is around 370mm , hope this was some help .Lloyd

    Thanks Lloyd.

100mm deep. Hrm that may cause me some problems. Trying to use an Aux fan on my patrol for help push air when i have the A/C on. As it doesnt have one from factory.

Problem being the bonnet stay support bracket sits fairly close to the condenser and parts. So im unsure if i can tweak it that much to accommodate 100mm.

Thanks again for getting out and measuring it for me. Appreciate it allot!

I have seen some very thin fans around the Auto shops and they are less than 100mm, more like less than 80mm so they would easily fit in front of Aircon radiator.
....and there is a bit of room between the stock radiator and the clutch fan, have you looked into fitting an aftermarket one on the back of the stock radiator and sucking the air through? I am pretty sure I would be able to fit an 80mm deep electric fan in this gap if I needed to.

    Hi mate.

Yeah ive seen there is some thinner ones, but i was hoping to not have to buy new. As im not 100% certain it will improve things.

Not real keen on putting it behind the rad as the oem fan and shroud is always the best option.

Also gotta remember its for a gq partol.
