have you compared it against a different gauge to compare accuracy? ie. electronic boost controller, dyno's boost logging.

I want to get a gauge with vacume and boost, but the needles are all slightly offset 0 when @ atmo pressure (engine off) which isn't a good sign. Might be a better idea to get a 0-35psi boost only gauge instead if the vacume ones are no good. Electronic versions are out of the question.

Please dont tell me they are accurate just because you think they are .

    Thanks

i currently have a venom mechanical, tinted face, works pretty well although pretty hard 2 c in the day no problem with the operation .

Have used autometer in previos cars, and they are very good, good quality, prob one of the best mechanical ones you can buy without forking out huge dollars for big jap brand names. Also get a vac/ boost gauge, they work a treat and can yell you if your engine has a boost leak usually.

I have an Autometer mechanical gauge and have had no problems with

it at all and this is the second car its been in. It seems very accurate as the last car I had it on had a electronic boost controller on it and they showed similar figures. More accurate than stock shitter, not that says much. Looks good to.

    I've got one.......>>

The couple of times I have had the car on the dyno and compared peak boost the gauge has always been within half a psi. My gauge goes to 30psi so the smaller spacing makes it a little tricky to be too precise.

I got one in my 260z and it works Damn well. Had it on a few dynos and they have read exactly the same as my gauge has been.
