On Sunday 23/02/03 a few of the Melbourne members that is Wykked, Blondie, Blipman, Jedi-77, RZM and ZXTT-1 attended the Australian Motorsport Show at the old Exhibition Building (NOT Jeff's shed) and had an enjoyable time wandering around, looking at some nice cars and nicer goodies to hang of them. Yep, it was a fun day.... Enjoyed seeing all the various sorts of racing splender and also some of the more tech stuff which I didnt really know much about but it was still interesting. As usual, the great company made it an even better day...Jack, where are the pics of the two hot babes wearing the slinky, tight NGK plugs dresses? Yep, it was a top day.....>> Although I've now seen far too many neat things that I just have to purchase, looks like I'm going to be broke for a little longer. Here are a few more pictures....The salesman was really doing a number on Jen here, trying to get her interested in a kit car that will be in an up-and-coming race series similar to the one make series (MG, Proton etc) that have been running for a while. I was disappointed with the general lack of team presence there - certainly a (very) few drivers were making appearances, but I expected more, especially given this part of pre-publicity blurb: <i>... "Staging each individual press launch under the one roof, is a more convenient and cost effective way of reaching the media in addition to creating an early season retailing opportunity for the new seasons merchandise" said Lisa. ..."</i> Given the above, and Skaifey's presence there, I was disappointed that HRT chose to have their media release on Monday, the day after the show :| :| :| aaahh well bugger 'em.
