Here's a thread up an running for those who competed today or are still competing, post up your times and chat about results :)

No one ran any spectacular times, but hey with a lot of people being first timers its great they had a go and got the bug! Unfortunate shifter issues with Robs car meant that going from 1st to 2nd was almost impossible and neither he or Ron could get a clean pass. Pretty impressive it trapped 113MPH on 9PSI though!

Bens NA auto ran fairly consistent mid/high 15's which is fairly good for a stock NA.

Justins white TT ran low 13's at around 120mph but had big traction issues on the launch.

What was wrong with his gearbox? Damn sucks so many people didnt make it in

The short shifter he has installed makes it almost impossible to grab 2nd when the revs are up, every run was a missed gear pretty much. A stock shifter and a bit more practise and it should be a weapon :)

Ran a 13.7, 13.5 and a 13.9. Pretty much stock tt with some bolt ons. Had an awesome time. Pretty keen for next time!

14.07 was the best time I ran, lots and lots and lots for me to learn. Unfortunately my day was cut a little shorter than I would have liked due to a tree falling over on my daily and me wanting to get back while I had enough daylight to sort it out. Meant I only got two runs in and Wiz two runs also.

Trapped 113mph on low boost -there's a lot more performance in the car of course, I just need to work on the human element.

Tell you what anyone who thinks that all they have to do to run a good time is turn up in a hot car is in for a BIG suprprise.

Not much to add to Nem's post -just a big thanks to those that came down and had a run, and also to those that came in support. Loads of fun and great to get out there and have a crack at something that I've been shitting bricks about leading up to this event :D I'm looking forward to getting out again soon and getting some more practice in! I didn't expect to be any good going into this, so big sorry to anybody who was expecting me to run 12s on first and second runs ever haha.

To anybody that missed out or had second thoughts I would REALLY encourage you to get out to one of these days/nights and just have a go. It really is heaps of fun and very safe and you have nobody to impress but yourself. As I said above I was packing it going into this, but can't wait to get out and have another crack. I can honestly tell you that the bullshit stops once that tree lights up...

Get a good standard shifter in there mate, big burnout to get those ET streets nice and warm and she will hammer. If you're keen for the next time you go we can pull the stock shifter out of my car and swap it before the drags to see how you like it and how well it goes.
