Been wanting to get a HAPP Hoist for the last couple of years. Well with the move to Brisbane last year I got a clean slate to work with albeit some restrictions from my better half Anyway, the new shed is essentially an over sized 2 bay but I have three cars. Problem fixed, shove one on a hoist! I liked the idea of a clear floor hoist since I would be using the space under the raised vehicle regularly as a parking spot so I did not want a speed hump to get over. Because clear floor hoists are A LOT higher than a floor plate hoist, I designed my new garage to fit the hoist. I'm really impressed with the quality of these hoists and the value of them can't be beat. Huge thanks to AZA, oohogwash and Nick for lending a hand. Couldn't have done it without you guys and a shout out to AZA for his birthday today Packed very well! HAPP 40, clear floor single point release. One off Now to get it up Smash the bolt in Gav! AZA making quality control checks while the Hydraulic Reservoir gets filled Test No.1, raise people, CHECK! Test No.2, raise a small car, I mean Kart! Test No.3, raise car and park car underneath, CHECK!
Qld saftey boots and all I see! Looks like a good thing, looking at that small footprint worries me but no doubt people way smarter than me have that all worked out.
I would love a happ hoist. I just have to find a place with a shed big enough or at least a block big enough to build one. Problem is the wife wants a nice house too.
On my phone it looks like you have colour matched the hoist with your cars. just coincidence or style choice If Brisbane floods again, now have atleast one dry parking space.
Better get a car cover for the zed now that it is up on the hoist. My zed has been up on the hoist for well over a year since her last time on the road and is dirty as. Just my two cents worth - make sure you eyeball the safety stops are fully engaged on both sides EVERY TIME you put her up, as you will find the rams do not hold pressure on their own and will slowly come down.
