me and static the 2 zeds who raced i did close to my personal best of 62.8 today i got a 62.88 :thumbsdown: dam didnt beat it oh well. statics brakes were letting him down fast down the straight but not alot of braking power. i havent reviewed the video footage for the day yet which most was taken by fleet and karla and abit myself, there is some good overtaking manourers throughtout the footage. all the footage was from track side as i didnt have the incar camera with me.
in total there were 6 zeds one fo the biggest turnouts from the zeds:thumbsup:
that must have scared that skyline into blowing a turbo or whatever it was that made him dump a crap load of oil:wacko:

It was a good day, lots of spills and smoke, tyre screeching plenty of smoke form you too aza what was going on there blowing smoke over all the parked zeds?

Like AZA said my brakes were terrible, you dont relise how important they are until you race your car on the track. i was very happy to say that not 1 car beat me down the straight. :zlove:
including the crossfire and silver bullet v8 BMW thing!

Would have enjoyed it 10x as much if i wasnt crook but, nothing i can do about that now!

Gotta thank pete again for lending me his tyres :thumbsup:

I had a great day, good to see a few more zeds turn up a bit later in the day too!

yeh im trying to work out where the oil is getting into the intake>

i think by the next track day ill be pulling the pleneum and setting up breathers between cam covers and only 2 breathers to the catch can and then back to the pcv's, if that doesnt work then maybe my oil rings are shot. would anyone know if a leak down or pressure test will let me know if the oil rings are shot??

hey matt got some good footage of you and a couple of the other cars, got a good shot of that wrx that spun behind me too that will definetly be going in the video.

just got a price on a manual conversion.....400 bucks im cheering.....bet u Z boys cant do that lol all i need is about 300 more hp and i may be competitive lol.....not gonna happen tho.....unless someone wants to donate an off tap VG30DETT and 5speed....hmmm the possibilities.

as soon as i do a lil editing and bloody work out my webspace settings again ill host it there be warned it will prb be about 20-40mb depending on how long the video is at the end of the day. wont prob get a chance till monday to start got some painting to do on my day off tomorow .. ill post when its ready thou.

there were acktuall 7 zed's

i didnt get there till bout 1:30, then had to go bout 4, i couldn't park right up close but i was there, had my new wheels on and all.

 

yippppeeee i finally worked out my login details and settings >>

for my webspace should have some footage up in the next week or 2 now. in the mean time ill rehost the rally footage i took awhile ago but hosted on google which i wasnt happy with how it comes up. is worth a look if you dont mind seeing some rally action :thumbsup:

Its not my fault if a guy in a V6 commodore ute comes up beside me n thinks he can drive, but is too busy thinking his car is good to take any note of the changing lights.... hehe!
