  1. Pepper

    Pepper 1991 N/A Slicktop

Misses reversed into a Nissan Patrol.
Bent rear chassis a little. Boot will not open and hatch now has about a 5mm cap.

    Killed my spirit....
Rust in Roof Weatherstrips/Hatch Glass, Misaligned Rad Support/Nose Panel, Replaced Front Fenders indicate Previously in a Crash And now Bent Rear Chassis its just all gone in the not worth it basket.

    Especially for an N/A.

Engine runs fine, although I have not checked cylinder compression and 210,000 on the clock it hasn't missed a beat. But still, it's just not worth it.

So for now, the Zed is my daily, nothing more. I'll strip the cosmetics, put it back to stock, and leave the pretty bling in storage until I finally find the TT I'm after.

Owch mate, how fast was she reversing to bend the chasis!?

I feel for you, but you've got a good game plan now, daily the N/A, save for your TT, go nuts, and don't let the missus drive it! At least not backwards anyway

    Best of luck :zlove:

    My advice is:

Be really REALLY nice to Simlenton... Dreams can come true :D

But seriously, oh you know how you love that Z. That 'Faberge egg'. Even as a daily you are set apart from mere mortals.

  4. ABZ300

That sucks to hear especially this time of the year...hope it works out and has a happy ending :)

  5. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

That's a really good approach to the situation Pepper. Keep dailying the NA while you build the TT, it makes a world of difference when you're working on a Zed while young (less income). I would know, I'm doing it!
