Good info, but 300zxclub seems to be down? Looks like others have beaten me to the punch anyway.

    Nope.

Might be worth an email anyway, he had 2 sets this time, one with both sets of pipes, the other with just the one. Bundle with only one set of pipes was $1200.

Has had another couple of sets up previously, always says to email him with interest at his company email which should be on his website too.

    cheers, Tim

the ash ones are 2.25 for the v1 or 2.37 for a set but you need a modified turbocharger housing.

i like the look of the mungyz gear !!! hook a brother up :D

OK that's about enough of the off topic thanks guys carry on via PM if you wish but this thread is about the far superior ultra super duper much much betterer fantastical beauties I designed.

If you want to talk about the rip off product that wont work with other products such as the Z1 silicon accordion hose set, is a pain in the ass to fit (in comparison) due to the location of the joints, doesn't have ribbing to prevent joints slipping off, has far sharper bends to increase resistance to air flow then absolutely by all means start your own thread.

Thanks for being so understanding, thoughtful, respectful and mindful of the forum rules and general good behaviour :D

    Thanks Glenn
I'm surprised why so many felt the need to dump in my thread.
I fully encourage the nay-sayers to pay through the @ss for something they believe is a gift from the Gods. The rest that opt for AMS' (mungyz designed) Turbo Intake Pipe Kit will find a very nicely finished product. I was able to view these recently. The hose beads look very well done. The bends all look nicely made. The tubo inlet pipe itself show good weld beads and no rough castings remaining on the inside with it's flange mounting plate being slotted to give the owner/installer the flexibility to make a perfect fit with all oem and most after market turbo applications and the exterior coated finish looks to be strong and quite resiliant.
If there are those that feel they're getting a better product for what they believe to be "the real deal" then I encourage them to anti up the $$$ for something that perhaps may not fit as well and may not perform as well. Just for the sake of what they may believe to be a brand name - knock yourselves out.

I sold my AshSpec piping kit when I caught wind that these and the other AMS Piping kit were in the works.

You push ams in literally every single thread you post in, if you dont want us to talk about other options, be they better or worse, then dont post in the general sections. Post in for sale by business, you do work for them dont you?

"Every thread"? That's an exageration. Please review my post history to validate. I'd expect to see the discussion to stay on topic and not try to tear it apart only because AMS's name is on it, that's what I expect. Where questions about this new product can be fielded accompanied with a focused discussion with the soul purpose of learning more about it rather than trying to upstage the thread with the monotonous AMS bashing rhetoric. When the haters take stage, all hell breaks loose and the Mods have no choice but to lock the thread. This inevitably satisfies the haters as it gives no chance for others (non-haters) to join in on the discussion and learn more about this new product.
If one is not happy with AMS products than make the best statement you can by not purchasing their products. Otherwise, please leave the kid stuff out of threads like these and stop the endless sensless bashing. I'm sorry that by placing this thread in the General Section that is also meant that it would be open season on it as well.

I cannot post this in the "For Sale by Business". I do not work for AMS. I do not get paid by AMS. I am not an employee of AMS. Heck I don't even live in the same city as AMS. I live 2.5 hours away from their shop. I am a loyal supporter of AMS much like you are probably a loyal supporter for obviously other Z32 vendors. AMS is the only Z shop in my province and the only place where I can get reliable service from. They have provided me with great customer service by taking into account the distance I have to travel to get servicing and occasionally have scheduled me for weekend servicings since weekdays wouldn't work for me.

If yourself and/or other members wish to talk about "other options", then let them start a new thread for that discussion. I started this separate thread for those same reasons. I'm quite sure it wouldn't be warmly received had I posted this AMS product info in an ASHSpec thread.

Communication under way to get a bunch of stock down here and then run a bulk buy for Australasia via the two distributors, will be a thread in the business advertising area when this is all confirmed, likely to be a certain amount of up front orders required to remove a lot of the risk for those involved (IE: I don't want/need $10K of stock that might take all year to sell LOL!)
We intend to ship directly from suppliers to reduce costs and save the environment :D
    (I'm joking about the environment)

I've got a set of the intake and the boost pipes on the way down to me as of today and also a new product that I'm sure you guys will LOVE in a big way (have to ask Vuk if I can post pics).

Once I have confirmed I am happy with the product (I'm sure they will be fine) we will get something under way for the bulk purchase :)

The boost pipes and intake pipes are going on a bit of a monster that should see some pretty good numbers (made a touch over 400RWKW on modified stock turbos).

As normal AMS were no problem to deal with and the parts are on the way with minimal hassle - meanwhile in other brand land customers are frustrated by a lack of communication from the vendor...............

nice !!! could you fit the turbo pipes themselves with the stock accordian pipes ??

  16. mungyz

    mungyz Well-Known Member

    Yes! :)
That was one of the priorities for myself during the design phase, the prototypes were tested and confirmed to fit with stock accordion pipes.

I will confirm this is still the case with the production models when I have them in hand.

I'm not sure if AMS will offer the kits in partial form IE: just the pipes that bolt to the turbos, no doubt IF there was a strong demand for them they would offer this.

Why do you want to keep the accordian pipes simmo?

  18. WazTTed

    WazTTed Grease Monkey

because the stock acccordian pipes are allready 2.5 " :D:D:D i think the main restrictions are the compressor pipes themselves they are all bent up like a mongrel ..

hence why msp made his own cast units similar to these but were never distributed to the public

    any movement on these?

The buggers have all gone to Zdays so we have to wait a few days until they get back I'm guessing.

If anyone knows how to get hold of the Aus AMS distributor he has an email from me that needs responding to :)
