I will have a chat with the Aus dist in the near future and see if we can team up to get a pallet across with a heap of stuff on it, shipping Aus to NZ or back the other way isn't a big problem, I can load up some suitcases and hand deliver I've been talking with AMS and they are looking for ways to reduce the shipping costs for us down here. It's interesting it is nice and cheap (in comparison) to send stuff to USA or Canada but if you try sending it back $$$$$$$

The shipping IS expensive from Canada, this is NOT AMSs fault they do NOT set the price for international freight. As I said above we are working on sorting something out, this might involve shipping a large amount of stock from suppliers across the world to us here in Australasia. It could be worse - I could have never made them in the first place & where would you be then? held to ransom by American "innovators" - if they ever made them that is.

If there are no welds then what is it joining the two sections of pipe together by the turbo and holding the flange to the pipes? The rest of the pipes might have no welds but then there are compromises because of this and this causes fitting and alignment issues. Congratulations on buying an inferior product - you deserve it.
