The bastard cops were making a huge commission in Parramatta near the station!!! There is a 'No Right Turn' which you really can't notice. And I went through that road for the 1st time, and cops had pulled over about 5 more cars!!!While she was writing my ticket ($127) 3 cars got away, b/c the cops ignored em!! And the her excuse was "Well we cant pull em all over, not like we have eyes on the back of our heads!!!" :N( What kinda b*llsh*t excuse is that. If they pull one person over, they should pull em all over and not pick on people they feel should be fined. I'm so p*ssed off. That's $127 I could have used for the air guide + my new oils for the car!!! GRRR :N( Well I'm glad to have added to the cop's commission!!! NOT!! :x :x :x

    I know how you feel...

got pinged in Perth along with about 10 other cars pulled over for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. I did stop but because the wheels stilled moved a millemeter or so they class it as not stopping, the corner was so safe it should of had a give way sign anyhow. This is what happens when you give young pricks a uniform and a police job who cant tell the difference between wright and wrong and only whats in the rule book.
Most cops are unsympathetic bastards and hippercrits in my book who need life lessons.)

I got busted there years ago doing the same

thing. You can't really expect though that they pull over people while doing your paper work. You got busted doing the wrong thing and the others, luckily, got away with it. Karma, it works out in the end. Still sucks though as they are clearly revenue raisning in so many cases. You can borrow my whacking stick if you like

I really get annoyed with posts like this..>

..admitting to breaking the law, and then screaming about the consequences. Let me ask you this, you go to work, and do your job, or you get sacked, right? Well are police any different, they go to work and do their job. Now just imagine, if, in your job, every sixth person you had to deal with, yelled and screamed and called you every name under the sun, what would be your reaction, particulary after a period of time. You did the wrong thing, intentionally or not, and got caught. Accept it, and the consequences. The Law may be frustrating at times, but without it you have Anarchy, and beleive me you dont want that. GT (authors opinion only, and probably not shared by anyone else :p )

    I agree>

just count how many times you done the wrong thing and got away with it whether it was speedingetc. I'm sure it balances out if you think about it.

    yeah that's true...but....

like I said, I didnt know about the 'No Right Turn'. The sign is barely visible at night b/c ur coming up a hill and lose site of the sign in the back drop. What p*ssed me off more was that they could clearly see that people are turning right there, but they clearly ignored them (obviously b/c they were writing a few tickets!!) BUT they saw me and, ran across the road and almost got run over in the process, as soon as I turned and pulled me over and kept me waiting for a bout 15 mins...they could have done the same to the others as well...Bottom line is...either they should pull over all those who did the wrong and not pick on the cars that stand out!! (WHICH MOST OF THEM WERE!!!) (there was my Z and a few done up civics, and intergra..and a few others)!! Ironic isnt it!!! Now do you call that fair?Put urself in my shoes. Ur sitting there waiting for a ticket, then u see 3 cars (on ur rear view mirror) waiting to turn right, and the cops ignore them after they turn...how would you feel!!P.S:- Apparently they catch upto 60-70 cars turning right there!! $127 per car...It pays well to be a ) eh!!)

Yep that's how I took it....

This kinda is a easy let off comapred to laws I break everyday...Oh well..."Sh*t happens"On a diffrent subject...I saw a 350Z pulled over by 3 cop cars (1 under cover and 2 hwy patrol) on the M4...Didnt see much commotion. Couldnt stop b/c I was on the far right lane. I was thinking maybe it was a stolen Z. Hmm....so it takes 3 cop cars to catch a 350Z...hehe ;)

You will never succeed in life>

    with a logical outlook like that, GT.;) ;) Everything that goes wrong in life, can be traced to somebody else doing the wrong thing, and you (the innocent victim) having to pay the price. 8-} 8-}
Ahh!...If only everyone else was dead! What a peaceful time I could have...err...I'll get back to you on this, OK:?) Cheers mate (You're right!)

    I got fined $150 >15km in a 60 zone (73)

I wouldn't mind paying the f@ggots if they put the money back into the road. It was a straight road little to no traffic and no side streets for 3km or more. I wish they had to catch you to fine you. At least I could make them work for their money. They would earn it, trust me.

    I got busted

doing 102 in an 80 zone at 3.45 am on a Sunday morning. Fair enough, I was speeding, I cop the fine. What pissed me off though was the fact that the cops tailgated me for 3.8 Ks [it was, obviously, dark and I couldn't see it was a cop car] and rode so hard up behind me _without identifying themselves_ and THEN pulled me over for the original speeding ticket BUT in addition to the ticket I completely acknowledged I was due they also did me for crossing double lines. When I looked @ them in disbelief and asked what he was on about, he said my rear right tyre had TOUCHED the double lines, so I had technically crossed it. I pointed out that the reason I had gone wide on that corner was to prevent the imbecile driver tailgating me from trying to overtake me on a blind corner - thereby maybe saving his life - and I was literally laughed at. He told me I could take the fine and cop it, or I could argue and then they'd do me for speeding in a 60 zone. Again, in disbelief, I pointed out that when they caught up with me I was driving @ the limit, and that the only reason I was speeding was because _they_ had pushed me to do so and I was informed this was not the case, and would I like to have this last one added to my quota, or not? From this two things happened. 1. I lost my licence on points accumulation. 2. I realised that cops are bastards. Utter phlegm. What they did was completely illegal, yet they didn't give a stuff.I understand that they're people, but you ask them what happens when they put on the uniform. A good friend of mine is married to a cop, and we've talked over what happened to me and he wasn't @ all surprised. His words "It happens all the time" He's a good bloke, and I know he's conscientious, but he is in the massive minority from my experience. The only time I've ever been impressed with the vigour of the law in regards to defending the legal rights of the populace [which is what I understand their function, in a large part, to be] is when there was an accident outside my place, to which I was a witness. They were very interested, and prosecuted it to the fullest extent possible. So much so I asked as to what was special about this case. Turns out that one of the [innocent] cars involved was driven by the girlfriend of a local copper. Go figure.Yet when I was driven into and then sued for damages did they give a rats? Even when the driver was in fact not licenced? Not a chance. I wasn't a mate, therefore - "you're wasting our time mate"I could go on, but it's getting boing even writing about it. I accept coppers are people, and understand they have an unpleasant job. I understand its a hard job, and, at times, an ugly job. Full credit to them for that. That doesn't, however, excuse blatant favouritism and lawbreaking, nor does it make it ok to apply the law in a add hoc way.Personally I don't think the Police should be expected to waste their time on traffic fines @ all; they should be out solving crimes and getting people their furniture, jewellry, DVD players, TVs, cars, etc back - and catching criminals. Traffic should be entirely seperate, and automated to ensure equity.
