    Hidds THAT annoying guy....

you would have to remove the metal brace and drill upwards into the plastic, the best option would be to get the correct sized speakers for the rear.... it will take you time finding it, but its worth it in the long run

    2 seater or 4?

    if its a 2 seater,
you can do what i did and put in 6*9's behind the seats (either side of the parcel shelf)

tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

How did those speakers actually sound mounted in those covers M8?
I considered doing that with mine but the panels are flimsy and loosely mounted.
Everything you DONT want in a speaker install.

their actually not too bad... they are reinforced from behind with fibreglass.

im currently in the process of making these out of solid fibreglass.. (4 layers like sub boxes)

Forget about 6x9's, get a pair of the Bose rear speaker boxes & get some 6.5's.

Ive made housings for 6x9's to fit under the covers where the stock speakers sit. Sounds good as i fiberglassed the housings to stock vibrations and jazz.

This is for a 2+0 also.
