I have seen on the form before 6x9 speaker pods for the rear speaker does anyone no where i could buy some from if not does anyone know a way to make them fit without cut the plastic???
you would have to remove the metal brace and drill upwards into the plastic, the best option would be to get the correct sized speakers for the rear.... it will take you time finding it, but its worth it in the long run
2 seater or 4? if its a 2 seater, you can do what i did and put in 6*9's behind the seats (either side of the parcel shelf)
How did those speakers actually sound mounted in those covers M8? I considered doing that with mine but the panels are flimsy and loosely mounted. Everything you DONT want in a speaker install. L8r E
yer i already brought 4x6 clarions but looking for just that little more sound that the 6x9 will give
their actually not too bad... they are reinforced from behind with fibreglass. im currently in the process of making these out of solid fibreglass.. (4 layers like sub boxes)
hi mate i have 6x9's in my z have a look at autobarn very similar to sub boxes about $20 each i hope this helps. mark
Ive made housings for 6x9's to fit under the covers where the stock speakers sit. Sounds good as i fiberglassed the housings to stock vibrations and jazz. This is for a 2+0 also.
