last weekend. Think it got a 1st and a 2nd, or maybe 2 2nds, but was not racing a full GTPerf field. Running a lot less signage than it had at Bathurst.Clipsal attendees, watch out for it in the GTPerformance races. [image]http://dh-photo.com/imagelst/images/Year2003/20030215/F2003002087.JPG[/image]
Yep it was there. First race it started in third or fourth place, and when the flag dropped it was in first before the other guys knew what happened. It was only a 10 lap race but by about the third lap it was in front by about 7 seconds. In the second race it started from pole but Nathan didn't get away as good. The WRX had a blinder of a start, from the fourth row of the grid, it found it's way to the front by the first left hander. Some intresting and memorable cars came out to play that day. Also a lot of reminising from the "older fellas" that was there from Oran Park's day one. Some good stories though.al
Hey Chilli - We wont hold it against you that old age prevents you from driving a Z the way it should be.
Hey Anton Thats a bit below the belt, your talking about a guy that gets booked for speeding on his way to the racetrack. Also after a couple of hot laps around mt panorama glued to his rear bar i can vouch that chilli knows where the loud pedal is.
Anthony, remember that soap trick??> It works wonders when applied to other squeaking items as well, i.e. noisy hinges, sticking drawers, babbling mouths and so on! Cheers Lloyd
It appears that Chili is held in high regard for driving like a demon behind the wheel of a z. Hence I owe him an apology despite only joking.Sorry mate....your still old though......just kidding
Yeah Anton, I am old, and I'm not joking Anyone know where to find a replacement body for a 1942 model Leadfoot?? Cheers mate Lloyd =) =) =)
