Since this is a Group Buy price/offer, I think you should start a new thread in that section since this one is becoming a bit long winded. Might also get some more attention since that is where people go looking for bargains

 

That?s my understanding as well, hence, the mod has removed the initial thread here.
I reckon it could work out better in gb section as well, however, as long as mods don?t move this thread then we will progress here.

hey max. man i sound stupid asking you so many questions again but just want to save you the trouble in sending the actual samples out to me. The colour i put is close to the 350z orange colour right, you think it will look okay on a pearl white zed...any suggestions? hard to really see or visualise the colour on the car. Alternativly i was thinking if the orange wasnt a good choice than a red or mabey white, though im not sure of how the red really is as in the shade and all, a bit hard to see. Will confirm within a week and edit it or whatever.

I'm definately in, just undecided about colour. I try not to make my car too flashy, I feel i'm breaking my own rules with green wiper blades.

It looks like the green's aren't too flashy, although if i wanted green I'd want it to stand out more. Do you have any pics of the green(s) installed?

I was bored so i had a play around in photoshop. Don't know if any1 else was considering green, but maybe these'll help?

Colour codes you like are GY9241 & GY9190
As discussed, I think 300zx interior is larger than FTOs and probably will be safe with getting 3sqm extra material.
Please make sure to roughly measure up.

Out of the scale, your choice is very close,
Seeing that 350z gold colour is quite dark, I could also recommend BN30077, don?t get confused with BN character,
Or if you want a lighter shade it is YW5238

Pearl white is a great colour for any car I believe, I was going to choose the same colour for my FTO during the respray last year, however, did go ahead with Silver Mist instead, as otherwise I had to do the engine bay as well, which was too much to play around with for me.
Pearl white and gold like seems to me a good match, is there anything also towards the gold colour in the interior? What about your seats?

Also, Red goes well with anything I believe.
All above mentioned colours are mottled.

 

I don?t have any photo of green covers fitted unfortunately.

The kermut green like colour is the flashiest out of all greens, GN4610

Regarding to jeans rubbing off, this is the first time I heard about it through this forum.
I have sold heaps of pure white sets, never had any issues. I strongly believe this issue doesn?t exists.
I mean unless you dye your jeans like ? hour ago, and put them on while still wet, and sit on the white seats?.. this is out of logic or idiotic anyways.

 

Hi Jay, just to clarify that I never supplied supra seat covers before, you might be mixing it with FTO.
The grey supplied earlier was GY9714
The beige supplied earlier was GB1840

I need to get things happening, as many people are looking for Christmas present,

I need to close orderings by 13th of November, which is 10 days away. This is also the deadline for the payment.
However, seeing that few of us might be short of money, you can pay a $50 non-refundable deposit latest by 13th Nov, and the rest to be paid just before postage, around 10th Dec, or all at the beginning.

Production will take around 3 weeks and will take another week to arrive to me, then I will forward to you all.
VIC members can collect it from City or Hoppers.
So it should all take around 4 weeks.
I will continuously update you during the process as at what stage; production, Q&A, postage, etc?

There is no number dependency on this, and the price is once of special group buy offer.

Here is the difference between Vinyl and Leatherette

Vinyl:
Leatherette:

You will realise that Vinyl has small homogenous bubbles affect. It is consistent through the material
On the other hand, leatherette is heterogeneous, and instead of bubbles it has inconsistent small wrinkles, which is exactly like genuine leather.
That?s the main difference, the looks!

It is very easy to identify Vinyl, rougher surface, hence, it is very cheap.
Leatherette looks and feels just like leather, need to spend time on it to identify. To a regular eye, it is leather.

 

hey max....ill have to drop out of this one....but really appreciate the help.....yeh i was only after doing a trim around the car as i have leather seats, there is pretty good condtion though the leather used by nissan is questionable...ie its a hard leather and would be better if the seats were a little soft(like soarer seat....).

Anyways i can get leatherette from some retrimmer so i decided i might get it from there as i can see the colour and save some money on postage....though i would rather have those seat covers than my leather but then i would waste that extra gran i bought the car for due to its rare leather...catch 22 situation.....unless i sell my seats and then get cloth ones and put covers on that, but i think cloth seats are mabey like 100-200 cheaper than leathers right?
