Got into my new Z yesterday morning and went for a drive and what do i see

1. Next door neighbour has new white Z (will talk to him today about forum :thumbsup

2. Gun metal Z with P's a parked about 10 houses up (next time i see i will leave a note under windscreen wipers)

3. Dark metalic blue, 2 seater, a few cars behind mine at the car wash in chatswood (couldn't find owner, nice ride! wonder if he/she is on the forum)

4. Gun metal Z passes me while stopped at the lights on Military Rd. Mosman, both breifly acknowledged each other and the other dude manage to get in "get on the forums mate"

I noticed a very nice Arctic White Z pull up to my next door neighbours place on the Gold Coast last weekend. Lady driver, full body kit (the car not the driver:LOL I was going to go out and introduce myself but she had just left:thumbsdown:

Perhaps she is already a member here??

 

Gold Coast seems to have been taken over in the last month or so.

I only work about 10 minutes cycle from home, and over the past couple of weeks i've seen at least 2 different Zeds every 2nd day.

Rumours got back to me yesterday that the Sunday Arvo cruize had about 7 Zeds out cruising.

I've seen 4 unfamiliar Zeds parked in surfers separately in the one night.

Seems that more and more Z's are appearing each week. They are becoming almost too common now.

I love unique cars, but seems like the 15yr export rule is turning the :zlove:Z into the new Skyline :embarrassed:

Perhaps there should be a new section in the forums called "Pimp up your Z" to distinguish the enthusiests from the import happy hoons! :LOL:

I recently purchase a 300ZX from Queensland which was recently imported before the 15 year rule. It was a real beauty and I paid close to his asking price. I finally got it shipped over to NSW and after a thorough engineers report its on the road. With plate ADEMON.
Everytime I take it out which on Sunday's its a real head turner. My fellow car enthusiast friends could not believe the amount of money and how well looked after the bloke in Japan spent on it. They estimate $100 000. I am new to the forum, so helpful ideas are great. If there's anyone living in the
St george/Sunderland shire area of Sydney NSW send me a reply and hope to catch up.

 

Unfortunately this seems to be the case in most states

In the last few months I have noticed a large increase of Zeds prowling the streets.
That said, I still don't think there'll ever be as common as the Skyline :zlove:

 

Just think of them as more spareparts

Has anyone noticed that the sudden increase in numbers....

has been proportional to a sudden decrease in the quality.

Not so long ago every zed you saw was in really good nick, but now you see an increasing number of "roughies" getting around and a high percentage of the drivers seem to be wearing their baseball caps backwards (I don't know if there is a correlation between the two) :wacko:

cos after what i have had to fix on my car my freinds always call out spare parts to me if they see another 300 :LOL:
as much as i love z's i hope they neva become as common as the skyline i live to be that lil bit different and u don't get as much attention in skyline, is it ok if i wear my beanie all the time instead of the turned back cap???
