What an awesome weekend! Great to catch up with friends, enjoy some great Sydney weather, and check out some amazing cars. Being a Datsun tragic I just love this event... the mix of cars, people, and activities is just perfect and it was well attended by visitors from all around the country with cars ranging from show condition to race cars to period modified to works in progress. It's a shame that more AUS300 people didn't make it. A few pics I took at registration out at the Sydney Regatta Center on Saturday. Nice to bump into Joe as well as some other Z32 owners who aren't part of the forum -I did manage to palm off at least one forum business card. This was also the beginning of the last minute prep on Ben's car lol.
For anyone wondering if the owner/driver of the beautiful white zed is ok. He is mostly ok. Understandably very heartbroken Thankyou for the pics rob! Great quality
white one went a bit to hard to soon, lost it 2nd to last? corner on his first lap, pretty much his maiden race too. was such a shame. as for the car, no clue unfortunately. madcow, this was over the easter long weekend.
Fixing up the busted pics... Show 'n Shine Sunday at Silverwater Park was a blast. Joe picked up some silverware, JT's newly rebuilt Z was looking awesome, Ben made it through scrutineering, and I got to have a really good look at some old Dattos with more than one sneaky Turbo conversion thrown in for good measure.
Lastly some track day pics from the Monday. I'm sure the other guys that were there have their own stories to tell, but from my point of view it was a lot of fun being able to shoot my mates on the track.
