Not yet. the circuit won't do agreements etc 'til september, so we once we have that, we will get the permit and supp regs done ASAP. Classes will be based on engine capacity- don't ask q's yet, we are nutting them all out and will tidy them up once Pete and Jen have sojourned their way back to the land of Oz....
Track entry is likely to be around $220. 6 years ago i think we charged $180, but with increased track costs etc, we've had to raise it.
We will have paid flaggies, fire and rescue, recovery, plus of course medical etc. this means more track time for everyone rather than organising ferrying people around.
It's a CAMS event and is 76dba.
We now have 2 venues for the dinner, and working with council on closing the Esplanade again for the concourse/show and shine.

Where do they read it at PI, inside or at the wall...I need to know which way to have my exhaust pointed...or I bring a Nissan x-trail, but that will still probably fail 76dba... (not having a dig at you, it's just this is rediculous)

Andy, all track days at Sandown are 76. As are the club sprints at the island. The only way for a "noisy" day is to pay three times the cost for the event in hire and permits. Or go State racing or higher.
It's done from 20 or 30m -not right up the exhaust like an EPA/ noise pollution test. Traditionally they are done on drivers left just before turn 1, but that may change. That's the tracks decision, not ours. (highly unlikely usually but they are resurfacing etc in Jan so not sure if they will move the spot. I doubt it, because it's on the infield and the dude doing it can still get back to the office without any hassle.)

Good to see mholt although this is not the Datsun forum, it gives an idea although a small light weight non turbo car. I can't find any in car footage of my car, although here is a more similar car link to a ibg hp R33 GTR on semi's doing a 1 min46.
