Hi everyone, Another question for the community here. Does 2.5" intake piping actually provide a performance benefit? I understand larger diameter pipes will allow less restrictions for air flow but won't the 2" turbo outlet, 2" intercooler outlets, and 52mm throttle bodies still be the bottlenecks in the intake system? I feel like those bottlenecks will require the same pressure for the air to be pushed through as a system that is fully 2". My question would related specifically to upgraded turbos (GT2860's). I realize I could be wrong here otherwise why would people buy the upgrades, but I always like to know the why and how before I buy new parts. As always, thanks for your input!
