Not yet that will happen latter on un life at the moment just pulling everything out ill corner weight at the verry end once im happy.
If the glass is 10 kg that would mean the hatch is 30odd kgs thats heaps Im i to understand there around 40 kgs ?
Wouldnt surprise me... and yes the glass is definately the heaviest aspect of the tailgate. worked that out when I stripped mine for painting, on its own with no glass the rear hatch is awkward but not to bad to handle. with the glass in its a definate 2 person job to deal with... Sure 1 person could lift it etc but I would hate to try and fit it solo - where as I fitted the hatch with no glass with no issues on my own
something needs to be done with it , thats for sure , but at this point im not sure how to attack it , if i can get my hands on a 2+2 hatch on the cheap we could get some definite answers i could pull it apart and take it from there , i dont really have any good contacts for the lexan glass either , i know ( THAT SILLY) 2+0 ones you can get all day , but the 2+2 cant find shiittttttt.
