    selling price

    Terry

Unless you really have to sell your car quickly you need to drop the price. Mate its a buyers market out there as there is a flood of cars to pick from.
I know that your personal investment will never be repaid, keep the car and don't spend anymore money on the car, if the reason is for financial reasons get rid of it, a car is nothing but an expense overall, regardless how much we love our Z's.

    Good Luck on the sale.

Firstly yellow 300zx, this car arrived from Japan with this speedo, and from my limited investigation it mostly pointed to Europe as being its origin!!!.. All things being equal if it measures speed corredctly, whats the problem???? AUS specs DID NOT have 180, that was jap specifically due to factory limitations..

    Just returning the statement!!!

Theo, how you meen mate, long time no speak/see.. Hows your animal going?

In response to your statement, i completely understand its a buyers market!.That being said there has been EOI of late which tells me i am in the ball park.. I wont sell this under a reasonable price, and some might argue that is generally what people are willing to pay! I am fully aware of what zeds are going for, but we are not comparing apples to apples either. I am happy to wait that bit extra for the one lucky person!!!!

Appreciate the advise though Theo.it has been noted!

P.S. Yello i wasnt attacking, just making this obvious obvious!

    Yeah

Never said Aus spec had 180, said aus spec didnt come out in TT, which was jap spec (180 speedo) alot of the time tho they are converted to the aftermarket 300k speedo's, and 260 is aus spec, so was wondering what kinda speed that was is all since it went to 280. Might wanna re read what I said :D

Really sad your selling the car I recall how much you love your Z car and Z's in general.

Keep the selling price to what you think it should be. If the Z car is immaculate than set a benchmark, even if the owners of Z's set a high price than market price. People in the market place buying Z's must appreciate good quality second hand cars in immaculate condition and well cared for by the owners, it may or may not set a trend of good quality Z's to fetch higher prices. Don't give it away, like most do.

What car you buying to replace the Z?

I entered the dark side and bought a r33 series 3 GTR V-SPEC, It is a little more practical in the sense that it has more room, but it still is a performance which isnt a major deviation from the zed...

I needed to know what all the fuss was about so i bit the bullet.. I must say it is an extremely different car to drive, not as torquey but shit she moves....... Off the line, cornering, breaking and even top end in this thing is unbelievable....... i have been planning to bring her round to a cruise for ages but keep on getting side tracked with work....

    How is yours going????

My Z is kept under wraps, due to no time because of work, When I get the occassional good sunday weather I take her out to get the internals moving. I be honest its a great car to drive however I rarely drive it. Not sure how long I will keep it. No use having something if it's not driven or used for it's purpose.

Gone are the days of all the time and be free. Now it's all about work and responsibility to work. If I had a 9-5 job I would think differently. With too much work it kind of shines a different light about having a certain things in life.

    Stay healthy

    Only thing

About an R33 is they are a dime a dozen, everywhere you look someone has one, plus they dont exactly turn heads like a zed does :D

you might be right if you were talking about a gtst...... r33 GTR are rarer on the street than Zeds... But i am sure you knew that... I must agree though, zeds turned heads shit loads more, but thats not why i bought the r33... I get the looks as is :p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p.. Chili (lloyd will be able to vouch for that)
