This car needs some TLC, would definitely suit someone who wants to restore the car. Looks great on the road, body in good condition but mechanically as stated needs work. Will be selling with No RWC but i can supply a mechanics report stating what must be fixed. Must be sold. http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/4509/13622/266451.jpg
Thanks hope it goes off to someone who will mechanically restore to its glory days, still looks great.
Here is what needs to be repaired, if your handy fixing up Zed's you will be fine. Worn Rear lower control arm Bushes Steering Rack boots torn valve cover gasket leaking Oil front timing case seal power steering hose from pump to reservoir leaking castor bar bushes worn LHF tyre unroadworthy Oil Gauge Windscreen possibly but thats common these days.
I might be interested, mine has been written off by a drunk driver hitting me from behind so have all the parts and more to transplant from mine to another vehicle. Just need to enquire about getting it here, how close are you to a major city?
Hi there, thats really crap about your car, if people drink just catch a bloody taxi. I am in melbourne victoria. Hope this helps your enquiry if you need any more info just let me know. Cheers
Hey there, good luck with the sale of your car. Just thought i'd add that the "oil gauge" - which I assume you mean to be the oil pressure gauge is not really a biggie, most zeds don't have properly working ones unless the owner has specifically changed the oil pressure sender.. Hope that helps! -Kirill
Thanks Kirill, Any info i can get is much appreciated, as in my post its mums car so i can only go off what the mechanic has stated in the rwc report. Thanks for the input mate
No problems mate. Didn't realise it was a roadworthy item! Your mechanic must be particularly tigh.. er thorough! -Kirill
so pretty much a plenum pull and its road worthy plus the wheels and windscreen... thats a good deal..... ill talk 2 a mate about it..
Thanks Aazn, As l said mum has moved to the 350z so just want it out my garage. As for the car, feel free to come and inspect it so you know what its like. Have a nice weekend
Not including tyres and windscreen probably $1000 - $1500 to get it all done, heaps less if DIY Bit of a bargain for what looks like a pretty mint Aus-spec.
Thanks for the post, yes its a nice looking car on the road. For someone who can diy its the perfect car to do up.
