The time has come, and I?ve decided to part with my beloved zed. It?s been in my possession for almost 9 years now, and I was the first Australian owner after it was imported by a bloke and sat in a garage for years. Lots of time/money/sanity has been thrown into this car over the years!

Lets start with the bad. Cosmetically, the car is in very poor condition. The paint is very average, old, faded and sun damaged. Theres a dent in the drivers side rear quarter panel. The spoiler has been removed and the holes need to be welded and boot needs to be painted. There are minor rust spots on the rear hatch from the spoiler. On the plus side, I have a second rear hatch! it also needs spoiler holes welded and to be painted though haha. I have a white fibreglass replacement spoiler too, which is in perfect condition, but needs be painted to match the car. All of the wheels have minor gutter rash.
The aircon doesn?t work. BUT! the compressor has been replaced with a known working one. One of the seals came unseated/ wasn?t installed properly and caused gas to leak out shortly after it was installed, so easy fix.
Theres an issue with the steering that causes it to ?lock up? so it feels like driving without power steering. 95% of the time i can solve this temporarily by turning the car off, and turning it back on again so its likely a sensor somewhere. This problem pops up maybe once a fortnight or so.

    Now the good!
After years of problems with the engine and countless money sunk only for it to fail time and time again, we decided to rip the engine out and give it away starting fresh! The car received a rebuilt low km vg30dett from kyp. Along with this came hi flow turbos and n*power dumps. Hi cas has been locked out as well as all engine and bay deletes completed. Id say by now, just about every single hose under the bonnet has been replaced at some point. Theres a 56mm aluminium racing radiator under there as well as huge Japtec side mount intercoolers. The car sits at a comfortable 77-79 degrees and hasn?t gone above 85 degrees since new engine was installed.
Car has been regularly serviced with premium quality fluids either every 10,000kms or 3 months. Engine was replaced just shy of 3 years ago. For 2 of those 3 years I worked fly in fly out on a 4 week on 1 week off roster, as well as travelled regularly so it was barley driven but started regularly. Received a minor service and coolant flush fresh for summer 4 days ago. Always run on 98 octane fuel.
A new clutch was installed along with the engine (can?t for the life of me remember what kind or brand).
Coil pack connectors replaced with quick release clips
Straight through custom stainless steel exhaust
    Gfb blow of valves
    Blitz pod filter
    AMS smoked timing cover
2k Front bar with smoked indicators
    2k tail lights
    ECU talk with blue display
    Manual boost controller
    Powertrix coilovers 8/6 k
Adjustable camber arms for front and rear
    Slotted rotors
Brake pads replaced all round 12 months ago
    Varrstoen te37 copies. 18? 9.5 +22 on the fronts, 18? 10.5 +22 on rears
New rear tyres 1 month ago, great tread on front tyres.
Targa hook replaced with brand new one
Trims along windscreen and targas replaced with brand new
Plastic gear stick surround replaced with brand new piece
Gear stick and handbrake boots replaced with new leather
Short shifter gear stick, black lightweight aluminium nismo stick
    Blitz boost gauge
    Stock plush floor mats
    Stock targa shades
Has an old cd player stereo with aux cord port, its about 8 years old
    Working clock!

I have just paid 3 months rego on the car yesterday, and it is insured with Shannons for $10k. I have been very emotionally attached to the car for a long time, and know it inside and out so please don?t hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Ive probably forgotten a few things. Considering the physical condition of the body I have priced this to go.

    Sad day

Sad to see you finally had enough, I do know how you feel though :(. A lot of ifs, but "if" I had the money and "if" I was buying another one, I would not hesitate to buy this car ;)
Good luck with the sale Kristen, and hope to see you around the traps now and then :)

    Open to reasonable offers!
nb - $2500 cash (not sure what else you'd use to pay for a car) is not a reasonable offer.
    :)

I always laugh when someone says something like that to me...... But I did have someone ask me to let them pay off my old bike. it seems that they thought I was more generous than the banks who would not give them a loan to buy it, seriously wanted me to let them pay it off over 3 years.

I let someone pay off a computer once.

But I didn't hand it over until they'd finished payment.
