    Only got a few problems now, one being auto wiring although ive almost got that sorted out. and in need of a tune then im away. ive drivin it already with a tune i made up :) goes good car feels lighter and brakes better. and yes needs a like bit of a tidy up

    thats sweet man, i was jealous when you told me about it at the tech day, and its only getting worse....get that beast running and cruiseable asap hehe!

    once ive made my new plenum and finished me powersteer res it should look a heap tidier

    how much has this conversion ended up setting you back?
    just a rough price if that's ok with you.

    hows the crossmember though?
    did you have to get that engineered?
    is it lower the stock and do you think it effects handling at all?

    not to sure about the price mabe about 2500 because ive done everything myself. ive givin a mate drawings for x member to see how i go about getting papers for it. although i might just mod the sump and use standard x member. has been a fun conversion though and it sounds nasty.

    i think the motor is like 80kg or more lighter than the vg to. should handle good. i hope.

    lol... nothing some good struts/coilovers and all adjustable arms wont fix i guess.


    is everything fairly standard on the motor or did you upgrade the turbo, injectors ect while you had it out?


    what else is planned for this new beasty?

    nice work dude., would have though you would go a nice single exhaust tho. those right angle bends at the rear cant be good for flow ... any pics of the turbo :D:D:D:D:D

    its a single 3" to a twin 3" i didnt think it would affect much flow. might just chop it and dump it at the diff :)

    35/40 ???

    people are using those on 2-2.2lt SR20s and making awesome power... why not go for something bigger and stronger to make some real numbers.



    nice work on the manifolds... should look great when finished!

    awsome power at 6500rpm lol just looking for all round power and the 35/40 works great on the xr's with some boost. and i cant go to large running out of room

    keep the exhaust how it is and when you really want to push it, chuck some side pipes on!

    ill only boost to what standard injectors will push at the mo. so mabe 17 with stock turbo then 13-14 with 35/40. just want it to be reliable.

    Nice work, but you should modify the sump instead of the crossmember. No one will certify that crap FFS!. The motor mounts bend in.. the motor lands on the rack while your driving very fast while you're driving around a corner, you cannot steer the car and the left is history.

    Other than that, f'n beautiful!

    Nice! Looks like you've done a great job, love the sound it makes. Very nice fab. work on the exhausts and manifolds...what is there in the way of mufflers in the exhaust system, doesn't look like you've got much in there but it doesn't sound real loud.

    How long has the build taken? Bet you can't wait to hit the street in it :D
