I'm not sure if this question should be in the ZRNT section of the Forum as it's about sourcing products. Stock OEM actuators seem to be in short supply. What should I use in place of them, and where in Australia can I source them ? I've searched the Forum thoroughly for an answer but all I found were threads on upgrades to bigger & badder turbos. I spoke to Coz at CZP, he reckons his kits aren't appropriate for a stock set up. Caz couldn't help, John at UAS is looking into it but has nothing off-the-shelf. If there's an existing thread on this, please steer me towards it. Or, if anyone has recently replaced their stockies please share. I value you guy's opinions much more than sales hypes. I realise I'll have to modify the existing brackets to fit the new cans, muck around with the link rods etc. That's no problem. Regards from Mick.
Thanks mate, how old are they? My existing stockies are working but 20 years old so I'd like to fit new ones while the engine is out. HKS, sure. Not fussed what brand. What type would you recommend ?
Hypergear Turbos Maybe try sending these guys an email and see what they say, they do replacment/high flow stock turbos for our cars, they might be able to sell you some actuators for your turbos.
Hey Mick, I can get you a brand new set of HKS wastegate actuators. They're so much better than the stock items. They are also adjustable so you can pre-set your actuators to run a higher boost than stock if you wish (i.e. no need for a boost controller). I'll grab a price for you and get back
Good call, I didn't think of them. They have 7 psi actuators for $100 each, on the shelf. http://digi-hardware.com/actuator.html
