the GTR brembos are on. they are so sexy i couldn't help but share, especially after giving the car a proper wash today. big cheers to rom who offered a hand and especially emma for the pro effort on the red paint. i know you're lurking the forums so here's victory shots for a job well done here are some progress photos: eeeewwwww black, that's gotta go also thanks to sandeep for hanging the calipers up here's my uber masking and stencil job + laying down some white factory finish as for a review, i guess the only comment i can make is everything in chrispy's review is spot on. i was sceptical about if this mod is worth the big bucks but after taking the car for a spin, it's worth every last cent.
Well you know what I think of them... After doing the brake tests in your car with the new brembos, next day we took the zed for a drive to compare the two. no point, there was no comparisson, your brakes not only look sex, they out perform my POS by a mile!
I'm dissapointed ....... in your lawn, it needs a mow! Aside from that, the brakes look incredible! A very neat job of the paint work aswell! Well done! :zlove::zlove:
hey i would have helped you more but chris was forcing me to work on his car. also +1 for chris' comment, i did 2 fairly hard stops in mike's car and i was blown away at how good these brakes are (calipers, rotors and pad combination) and the pedal feel is still really good even though the pistons are bigger.
:zlove: Nope they were pre anodised. Very $$$ but oh so worth it. Endless gear all round inc pads. Blue and the red contrasts really well and my old Apexi 2 piece in lame stock size were also blue coincidentally. Now I'm tempted to get some blue rays wheel nuts to match but they ask for ridiculous prices for just wheel nuts
around $800 a set ex shipping. very reasonable considering in stock size they cost the same price! one of the other reasons i decided to upgrade, it was cheaper to get GTR sized stuff than zed ones
mate that paint work is pro I from the first shot I would not have guessed they'd been marsked and sprayed in someones back yard. TOP JOB man.
