QLD Chardy Shack Mexican salute

Black Baz hosted yet another super party for southern guests and other NDN'09 attendee's. :zlove:

The weather was fine and approx. 40 guests enjoyed Barry & Annette's hospitality.

Craig and Kristy missed everyone so much they made the 400km round trip from Warwick to attend the party. :zlove:

Who's got a hang-over this morning?

 

No hangover for a change!! I think this is the first morning after a Chardy Shack that I havent felt like I wanted to die! LOL!

Thanks to Baz and Annette for another great night, always have an awesome night at the Shack.

Its a shame only one person made it into the pool, it was definately a bit more mellow than the past collection of nights at the shack. Could be due to the dislocated knee to start off the night... Although she looked like she was having the time of her life when they gave her the 'lollipop'!! Hope all is ok with that.

I made it home safe and sound at about 1 this morning after driving with Fate and Benny. There is nothing quite like you're own bed and a sleep in after nearly a week of drinking! Hence, I have taken most of the day off work today! Shhhh...

Thanks heaps for another great night and looking forward to the next liver/kidney/braincell killing event!

Thanks Baz for the great hospitality, food was fantastic. Definately looking forward to attending more of these in the future.

Was great to meet the interstate guys and of course catch up with the usuals.

Yay! another great Chardy Shack experience! Usually the only interstater attending is HaylZ (and ends up in the pool)
But this time Just about every other interstater attended - except HaylZ!

Baz, you and Annette are simply tops! So much effort and cost goes into your parties, but it shows every one of your guest the time of their lives. Thank you both once again! :zlove:

Had a sober night and still enjoyed every minute of it. Left at about 12.30am for my trip home and arrived safe and sound back in the country at approx 3.15am

Great to have some more quality chats (less drunken) with some of our interstate friends for a change, and getting to know them a lot better. All really great people, and hope your long journey home is better than the washed out roads we've been having up here earlier this week.

Once again, thanks Baz and Annette! And here's hoping the next Qld weekend event will attract some interstaters aswell. .... I'm looking at you Pex. *cough, Gympie sleepover in October, cough* :zlove:

Huge thanks to Baz and Annette great party. A little quieter than usual but not necessarily a bad thing.

Was a sad night having to farewell the not so familiar faces from the South and North.

Can't wait for the next one!

Had a nice QUIET drive home along the motorway with Benny C and Brissie Beauty.

Has there been any update on our injury for the night, or is that on a "knee'd" to know basis .

Rundown of night events

• everyone turns up
• everyone drinks a lot
• 1 person tries out the pool
• everyone eats a lot
• Cara's birthday and associated cake gets devoured
• Hard luck award going to Angrybear for his speeding ticket leaving Warwick.
• Leigh & Shazza get the award for long distance
• 1 x Ambulance gets called
• Everyone stays until about 11:30pm and then the crowd slowly disperses.

For a change I was first there and last to leave

For all those interstate who were able to take the time and effort to come up for the evening, thank you for the pleasure of your company.
You are all welcome to come up for the Gympie sleepover in October.
Have a safe trip home.

hi guys and gals .... thanks for all the good thoughts ....

a "jayme" up date ... annette and jayme did not get back from the hospital until after 3.00am ... jayme's leg in a full brace and struggling on crutches (happy gas well dispersed .. lol) .. diagnosis was a severely dislocated knee with a minimum of 2 weeks in brace/crutches ....

back to the hospital for another 3 hours this morning ..!!! .. for the x-ray not done last night and a full assessment .... what bloody timing with Uni exams next week ...

 

All the best for a speedy recovery, Jayme, sans lollipop

 

All our thoughts are with you under the turtle shell Jayme. Really bad timing by the sounds of it with exams... rargh , hope your recovery is a lil easier for you.

To Annette and Baz, Thankyou so much for the wonderful evening...

I heard lil turtle kept herself entertained....hmmm.... and I've been told that she's looking forward to the next one.... Aren't we all !!!!

It was great to finally get to meet CHILI and Stef (you gota bring the silver one next trip) and some of the other interstaters... it was also just as nice to catch up with all the familiar faces too of course

Cheers to Baz and Annette for a great night. I have now seen the Chardy Shack and its reputation is well deserved.

I appreciate the thought for the hard luck award Baz, but my trivial speed camera incident pales against the experiences of Jayme's knee, RedZedMikey's engine, Wiz' exploding targa trick, and the horror stories assocated with the DriftZ machine.

A great weekend and a suitably great finale. :thumbup:
