Now I've got your attention, any late comers? Please PM me if you want accommodation. Share or otherwise.

Many years ago, in London, I assisted flatmate PLAYBOY CLUB Bunnies to dress in their tight costumes, applying sticky tape under their breasts to enhance cleavage ... a titillating experience. Happy to assist at Warwick if required ;):p:D:eek::cool:

Interesting number of 300zx entries per state

Interesting number of 300zx entries per state:

    NSW.... 10
    VIC...... 6
    QLD..... 2
    ACT..... 1
    WA...... 1
    ? ........ 1

How come so few from QLD

easy answer to that one steven ....

.. we are tight with our dollars up here .. (lol) .. but more to the point, a more imaginative, flexible approach to event selection (rather than the all or nothing dogmatic policy) would have seen any number of additional QLD entries ...

.. as covered in another thread, the organisers claim was that ".. we need the money .. we know best .. it is all events or no events ... " .. a sad, regressive attitude, for mine .. ...

anyway, the proof is now in the pudding ... as you point out, a "Nissan/Datsun Nationals" in QLD ... and two QLD entries .. that has to tell you something ... ???

Heaps of Queensland entries, but only 2 of them are Z32s.

    dont agree....

not to disagree with you Black Baz, but if the entry conditions were as strict and dogmatic as you point out, then you would think that the entry numbers from the other states, which have to travel much further, would also be quite low. But instead, you have a healthy 10 from NSW and a healthy 6 from Vic. And I bet that these entries will be the same victorians, NSW and queenslanders that participated in the 2007 Nissan Nationals at Phillip Island. In my mind, its just the same core people of zedders willing to participate in the racing and show and shine event. Also, I point out, that there a lot more queensland entrants with other car makes, not just Z32's. So perhaps it is more of a problem of the z32 queenslanders not willing to participate, rather than all the queenslanders in general. You may not agree, but I'm just putting forward my view.... Its not a personal attack....

    Cheers

    Gah complicated!

Ok my story. Yes I'm a comin'. From Tokyo. Tokyo Japan. However it's a bit complicated.

Can people give me some advice on timing and transportation, if anyone can help out it would be great in that regard, I'm just putting this out there as actually I don't know the area that well.

While I'm in country my girlfriend will also be coming over from Japan. By chance she will be in QLD at the same time as the Nationals with one of her friends, then when the Nationals are finished (maybe Monday or Tuesday) she'll fly down to Melbourne with me and her friend will fly back to Japan. It's not yet decided if she'll be in Brisbane, Noosa or the Gold Coast (tickets will be booked soon), for each of those possibilities how hard will it be for me to get to these locations to fly back with her, either with a lift with someone, or by other means? (bus, whatever) I just don't know the area that well, where the airports are, where Warwick is in relation to everything and ease of access, and so on, so I'm not sure what's best... any ideas? Also of those 3 locations which is the best for a Japanese girl with no car to spend 5 days or so? She's asked my opinion and I have no idea.

I'm only in Australia for 3 weeks or less so driving up probably eats up more days than I'd like to spare so I'll likely fly up, maybe on the Friday (or is Thursday better?). If I fly up to Brisbane can I get a lift to Warwick with someone?

It's all come up pretty quickly and she now needs to buy tickets pretty soon, so any help people can give me would be great.
