Well most of you can lick my balls but for all you non haters this is for you.... Ok. Welp as some might know I sourced out some 300km/h white dials from refferals. Noone actually had them from this guy and I know exactly why.... DO NOT BUY FROM: http://www.bmgauges.com.au/300zx300.html Where do I start with the faults....(I will get pics up soon if i can) 1. The REV guage has got a BIG warp/bend in it from the shabby plastic the dials are made out of. It sits near the LED but yeah...other dials where fine before the change over! 2. The speedo is WAY off. Just look at it closely in the pic above! The stopper sits so high that when the needle sits on the stopper, it points to 20km/h when your meant to be on 0km/h! So your not moving, but dial says 20km/h!!!! 3. The resistor provided nor the one on the TECH article is correct. The TECH artifle is right, its just that these things are SO bad. You need like a 23k resistor or whatever we worked it out as. If needed I can find it out for you if I like you. 4. NONE of the dials sit properly in the cluster provider legs. You have to jam the dials and squeeze them onto the legs. Half the dials can only sit on one leg as the wholes are not even cut out properly. 5. The cutouts are done BY FRIKEN HAND! You can see ruff cuts all around the dials. The boost guage and pressure guage look like they been cut out with a bloody scalple! 6. Its not even proper dial plastic they are using! Apparently these dials are some dodgy plastic. 7. These dials are NOT to be purchased! See if i can get a refund....Sif a business can go around selling this shit to users who put in their cars for day to day use.... Sheesh... END RANT
this is what you should have got,looks better ,fits and lasts lol (but your car is so quick it needs a 400kmh dial doesnt it ?)
Where can you get the proper facials Have a na ... yeh yeh its a na buts I still loves her. But does anyone know where I can get a set of black 300km facials with resister for her to be gone the 180km. Thanks!
Pretty sure I have read somewhere recently about the same 300km/h White dials being handcut and crappy quality. The person complained and got a decent set. (What he/she should of got first time round).
its difficult to get our black or white 300 kmh gauge sets going again, we would need 20 definates pre-paid as the manufacturer only takes bulk orders
Guys, I've been on the exact same mission as this for the last few months. I've got titanium rings and I need to pull my speedo apart, but I don't want to if I have to do it twice. So for this to work, someone needs to organise a group buy of at LEAST 20 DEFINITE people....and only then we can ask Fleet. No earlier than that. So, if anyone feels like raising there hand to do this, go ahead. I'm a definite and i'll take black please

I got the same ones from ebay (same seller name however). I complained to him and he refunded my money. I paid through Paypal, so it was easy enough to get the refund because I posted a paypal dispute. The seller bmgauges was happy enough to refund me. Yes, they arer crappy hand cut and the plastic is rubbish. If you hold them up to a smallish light globe (similar to a car dash one) you can even see blotchy patches shinning through.....All in all Give them a MISS they are rubbish quality.
I got a set of 180k whites and the first round was pathetic, it was almost like someone made it by hand and drew the numbers on with fingerpaint. The second set looked way better but still sucked, the light from the cluster shines through the plastic and looks ghey. I think I might just go for a set of indiglo gauges or something....or just stick to stock. I mean, my car will most likely fall apart at like 100kmh anyway, so no need for a 300k speedo.
On a good note, I have contacted the buyer and with no fuss got a refund back. He has promised to research and ask other buyers of his product for feedback as he has none still. Legit guy, good bloke but now knows product is shamefull. Got a refund and yeah. Thumbs up to him obviosuly honest mistake and not a crook. Refund shows all. I still suggest fleet's EOI for dials.
