The Z is no longer going.1990 J spec 2+2 TT auto.Black.The car has about 105,000 K's and recently stopped.Smoke coming from RHS below head.Boils very quickly if driven.No water in oil.Has a dented rhs gurd.I have a few spares including spare engine(not running) $6,000 with all spares. Also have a Gold 260 Z with 280 motor auto trans.Was running like an express rain when deregistered and garaged 12 months ago.Was keeping for a project.The car is original and condition is good(for a car of it's age),no photo's at the moment but car is in Beenleigh Qld.$4,000.Offers considered.Photos when I can figure out putting them up.
ITs the water hose that leads onto the turbo. I had the same problem at the same 106K You can call to discuss if you want it going again. 0400520232
260z I hope to take some pictures this weekend will post them as soon as I figure out how.The car is a four seater and I am told has a 280 motor but i wouldn't know.Cheers Jeff
Z32 I havent had a chance yet to get at it,hopefully tomorrow.I hope it is just the water line to rhs turbo.
update I have replaced the water line to the rhs turbo but the turbo seems to be knackered.I dont want to go to the trouble of replacing it at this time.will consider offers.I will consider offers for the 260z if anyone is interested.
re300zx I do have some pictures of the zx but they are on my other computer.I will try to transfer them this weekend.As for the cost of repairs If I have to pull the motor to replace the rhs turbo then I would rebuild the motor before replacing it.So at least I would do the 100,000 k service.And at least new rings and bearings and probably have the heads looked at.The cost of that well I dont know off hand.I would guess at $2500 so add cost of car you would probably be up around 9k.But with a rebuilt motor thats not bad I think.

Extra info: Black 300Z was originally badged a Fairlady and is a Twin Turbo/Automatic the spare engine being a Twin Turbo/Manual. The Gold 260Z has pre-pollution twin carbs running a straight through exhaust with only one rear muffler, so it does make some noise but in a good way. Comes with spare radiator and towbar and is complete and very much as factory. And yes, it would make an awesome track/club/tarmac rally car. Cheers, Bazza
